This is for Reflections in Carlinville, Il. My maid of honor and I had our hair done at this salon. I didn't have anything in mind, so I just told her to do whatever she wanted. My hair turned out to be very gorgeous.

We rented a Video Camera that recorded onto DVDs to record the ceremony and for our guests to pass around at the reception. It was a fairly cheap investment to record the memory.

We went to Wal-Mart for our invitations. They have many designs to chose from (although some Wal-Marts have different ones-so shop around). The invitions are really easy to do, just get a layout scheme from the website of the brand and then type your information in. Very simple.

We did everything by ourselves, so I went to Michaels and bought the items for an archway and the favors. They have a really large selection of flowers that look real and favor ideas. Also, their website was really helpful in deciding what to make.

I went during their "big $99 dress sale". I wasn't allowed to just go and look for the on sale dresses. They had me look through a catelog and mark the ones I liked, then they went to get the dresses for me to try on. I ended up being very happy with the dress I got, although it was really out of my price range. Alterations were close to $300 by the time it was over, but it was worth it. The sales professionals were very helpful, although, I would suggest making an appointment ahead of time.
