We got a lot of the goodies to fill OOT bags once we got to Hawaii. The store was fully stocked with Hawaii stuff and the normal stuff you would expect. Great idea to go here instead of the tourist shops.

We went to the Hyatt Kauai and the Hyatt Maui. Both hotels were great and very accomodating. The Hyatt in Maui is spectacular! WOW!! They gave us great treament at both and I would recommend both Hyatts.

I loved my dress. It was a great find b/c I bought it at a sample sale. I was getting ready to order the same dress from RK Bridal... but ended up going to a Watters sample sale here in Dallas and finding the exact dress in my size and paid $150!! I'm glad I only paid that b/c by the end of our wedding photo shoots... that dress was FILTHY! I will honestly be surprised if any cleaners can get all the dirt and sand off the bottom of that dress. recommend (Update... found a great cleaners in Dallas that got my dress and HH's suit looking brand new!)

They sucked. The food was not good and cold and despite the fact that I payed a lot of money... I didn't feel like I got any extra treatment from them. I know this is a restaurant with other things going on..... but can you give me a little attention on my wedding day! I know that kind of sounds bratty... but damn... can I get get a congratulations or something?? Anyway... I thought it was poor service and quality...and I wish I would've went elsewhere. D&B's has significant meaning b/c it was were David and I had our 1st date... but totally wasn't worth it here in Honolulu! I sent an email telling the manager about my experience and she was really sweet about the entire incident. She apologized on behalf of D&B and even sent a gift card inviting us to visit again.

Aileen was extremely sweet. Sometimes it is difficult to get ahold of her... but she always returned my calls w/i a day or two. I honestly don't remember her playing at the ceremony (too many other things going through my mind) ... but everyone else does and said she was great. She played the harp for me and it was a romantic touch. I definitely recommend her.

Thanks to my wedding coordinator I never talked to this vendor either... but had heard great things about her cakes. I wanted a relatively inexpensive cake... that was tasty and cute. Once again...my wc hooked things up for me. MY CAKE WAS GORGEOUS!! I loved it....and it was yummy too.

I really didn't have much contact w/ this vendor (thanks to my WC)... but I liked my bouquet. I did notice that my white cymbidium orchids were starting to brown by the end of the night... so I was disappointed. I got a bunch of white cymbidiums for my AHR and they lasted over 2 weeks. Anyway... Leeward had the best price compared to the other florists I got estimates from.

Once again... I had a great team w/ Janice and Davis of Video 21. I was sad after my wedding b/c we ran out of time (sunlight) and couldn't get the rest of our photos in... yet Video 21 made a great video! I am so happy with it. Janice is really sweet and and will do whatever to make your video exactly how you want it. The only concern I had was that they supposedly don't charge per hour (unlimited time)... but when I wanted shots of us getting ready... it was more money. I would've liked a few bride and groom preparations as part of our video... but was pleased w/ the outcome and the fact that they had it ready to show out our AHR when we returned from Hawaii in 2 weeks. I was nervous at first b/c this was my most expensive splurge... but I LOVE MY VIDEO!!!!
