Jesse is brilliant. I'm assuming if you're reading this you've already taken a look at his work which speaks volumes over anything I could possibly express in words. Put simply, it's the best. Therefore I'm going to focus my review on the non-visual elements of working with Jesse.

Our wedding was a destination wedding in Sonoma, CA (we live in Chicago) and I had narrowed it down to 3 photographers I wanted to interview on our first trip out to plan. I am extremely organized, a business professional and a perfectionist, and I expect my vendors to be the same. Jesse consistently exceeded my expectations. He is very confident, very easy going (but knows exactly what shots he wants and how to get them), prompt in responding, not pushy in the slightest, and really great to work with.

I can't stress enough how important it is to feel comfortable with your wedding photographer as they spend the entire day with you and your guests. Jesse made us feel at ease and comfortable the entire time. And he has this 'cool factor' about him that is, well, just cool. He was non existent in my memory during the ceremony (which is how it should be, nobody wants to see a photographer backing down the aisle before the bride) but produced the most amazing shots and captured our day perfectly.

Our one on one shots were absolutely stunning and our wedding ended up being featured in the knot magazine and the knot website.

Your wedding photographs are one of the few things that will last after that day. The decorations will come down and friends and family will go home. So much work and planning goes into that 1 day /weekend and having Jesse there to capture it so beautifully meant the world and was worth every single penny. With our package we also received a hard copy of 1,000 photos in a beautiful leather box as well as all of our photos on disc in color and b&w.

Reverend Tim officiated our ceremony on August 7, 2010 at Viansa Winery (I apologize for just now writing this as I relied heavily on consumer comments to choose my own wedding vendors).  He was nothing short of brilliant!

Our wedding was a destination wedding so we were unable to have our own reverend there and the ceremony was a very important and meaningful piece of the event for us. We met Reverend Tim for coffee the Fall prior on one of our planning trips to get an understanding of who he was as person and a Reverend. Everyone comments on the strength and power of his voice - which in all honesty could make reading a dinner menu sound attractive - but he is also warm in nature, commanding in stature, very dependable/responsive, well versed in what makes a good ceremony vs a great ceremony, and also open to integrating the couple's own ideas and wants (I probably had more than the average bride...).

While many couples comment that he is nondenominational and view that as a plus, my husband and I are strong Christians and wanted our commitment to God present in our ceremony. We gave Reverend Tim free range to comment on how marriage is viewed in the bible, the man's role and the woman's role, he did this wonderfully. 

Our ceremony was only 20 minutes long but there was not a dry eye to be found. The level of intimacy and meaning was truly amplified by Reverend Tim for all of our guests to witness and be apart of. We received countless compliments on our ceremony from our guests and the Viansa staff (and they see a lot of weddings!).

Reverend Tim if you are reading this, thank you again for making the best day of our lives even better.
