I had a mixed experience with this company. I was pleased with the follow up and the level of service from their staff up until the day of service. They had reasonable prices and upgraded us to a 300C stretch limo for free. But on the day of the wedding, I had a horrible experience with one of their drivers (I had 2 separate drivers that afternoon and evening).
Despite reassurances from management by phone that everything can be paid with a credit card, my first driver specifically requested her tip be paid in cash (rather than credit card, because she said the company would take it otherwise, and she won't see a dime). This request resulted in all of us scrambling to come up with $120 in cash. None of us had anticipated in need to carry any extra cash that day since I had already accounted for all of the vendor payments. There was some billing confusion where I was asked to pay by both the driver who picked me up, and the driver that dropped us off. No one was sure whether the first driver actually accepted the cash tip or not, and I stood in my wedding dress in the parking lot, calling people to verify that we weren't being double charged.
The first driver also left the limo to watch the ceremony. She was captured in several pictures standing directly behind me as my mother walked me down the aisle.
I couldn't imagine such unprofessional behavior from a limo driver. I even went as far as calling the company and following up with a letter of complaint, which I've never done before. I haven't yet heard back from the company, it's been about 2 weeks since I emailed my complaint. Unless they follow up to let me know that something has been done to correct their business practices, I would highly suggest brides/grooms go with another limo company. No one should have to worry about this on their wedding day.

My husband and I recently married at La Venta a month ago, and we couldn't be happier with the gorgeous venue, the high level of service and the excellent quality of food at La Venta. We received countless compliments from our guests on how beautiful the venue was. The venue assigns an on-site coordinator when you book with them to coordinate your event and manage site details with your vendors. Our on-site coordinator, Tim Kennedy, was on top of every detail. He responded to all of our emails promptly, handled our day of events unobtrusively and with professionalism. He even went out of his way to drop off a few unused frames from the wedding at our home.
A few caveats: The cost of the venue includes food and rentals, and can be on the high end. Ultimately, we thought that it was worth splurging on a fantastic venue and great food for our guests. The venue is quite popular with South Bay folks and prime summer dates tend to book up quickly. We settled for a June 2007 date when we booked backed in March 2006. Despite all this, we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and wouldn't hesitate to recommend other brides/grooms to La Venta.
