I was worried because there are bad reviews about every tux place, but everything here went flawlessly. No mistakes, no messups.

I loved my invitations. We looked at several different companies and found one of two problems. They were either great quality but very expensive or great price and poor quality. Jean M was great to work with. The paper quality was on par with the expensive companies, but were incredible cheap. AND they were quick! It took about 2 weeks to get our invites!

Working with Brian up till the wedding was amazing. He was great at contacting me, flexible with changes I made up till the week of the wedding. However, we weren’t thrilled with the DJs themselves. We had a DJ and an MC and that was great because they were on top of everything…..except the music. For some reason they wouldn’t let anyone make requests, and they were not as adept at getting people dancing as we had hoped. In fact, we had to request multiple times for them to start the dancing music. And they only played 2 songs from our must play list, instead playing songs that were not really anything like what we requested.

The cake turned out beautiful. And I have heard rumors that it tasted amazing, though DH and I didn’t get to sample it other than the bites we fed each other (which I can’t remember!). However, the store gets a lower score because we had serious issues with them before the wedding. They quoted us one price, then tried to charge us a lot more when we went to book. Then they fought with us a lot and tried to take out some of the stuff they had already included. It was a hassle and caused me to worry about whether our cake would show up with a footprint in it. Luckily, the cake was perfect, but I wanted to give a heads up so other brides don’t go through the same problems.

Allie was great to work with. I can think of no better way to describe it then she “gets you”. She knew exactly what I wanted without me having to tell her and the flowers were amazing. AND they lasted such a long time! We had fresh flowers in my apartment for almost a week!

Natalie was great! She really catered to each of my girls getting their hair/makeup exactly as they wanted it. She even put false eyelashes on my BMs cause they loved the way mine looked. The girls looked amazing. My mom is the least girly-girl you could ever meet. She never wears makeup and she’s never had her hair professionally styled (cut and colored yes, styled no). Natalie was great at working with my mom so that she didn’t feel like she was overdone. She then airbrushed my mother’s leg because my mom is so self conscious about her varicose veins. As for my hair and makeup we were fighting incredible humidity and she got my hair to curl on command! I loved the soft look of my hair and makeup and it stayed allllllll day and into the next morning (too tired to wash up). Timing was great, we were even done early!!!!!!

Susan and Corey are the greatest! We really loved them and they were great at being everywhere at once. Since there were 2 of them it was nice to be able to have Corey with the guys and Susan with us girls. They got along great with my family and spoke with DH and I to make sure they weren’t being too intrusive.

Leah and her assistant showed up and started snapping. She was quick, she was efficient, and she was GREAT with the kids. We already knew we loved her personality and her work, and she did not fail us day of. Looking at the sneak peek on her blog she captured some great moments we weren’t even aware of ! She also was great about getting pictures in the style I was interested in and we had so much fun with her!

The Surf and Sand exceeded our expectations. They were able to accommodate every one of my requests. When the girls and I checked in the night before the wedding there was champagne, cheese, and fruit waiting for us. We had someone waiting on our every whim throughout the weekend, and when Daniel, our banquet captain noticed we hadn’t eaten our food he arranged for us to get free room service in our room later that evening. When DH and I arrived at our room after the wedding there was champagne and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us as well as rose petals decorating the room and bed. The venue was gorgeous, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.
