There were a lot cheap versions of nicer dresses minus the details such as hand beading or embroidery. They didn't have a single dress that was not polyester.

I signed up to have a fitting there before I went to the store. Since they had my phone number and email on record, I got about 50 messages from them for months after I visited them!!

I found the style of the wedding dress that I ended up wearing there. However, the one they had there was a size 10. They kept on insisting that it could be altered to fit me, but as I'm 105 lbs, I wasn't convinced. I ended up ordering the dress from the designer herself because La Belle Reve couldn't gaurantee deliver by late June even though it was early January.

I did end up buying my veil there. I saw it there, went home, thought about it and decided to call to have it put on hold. This was Wednesday. I went to pick it up Saturday and they had sold it. They made up some lie and gave me 10% or about $25 off so I ordered and paid for another one. It came 2 weeks before the wedding.

It is a very nice place to have a wedding reception. We had about 100 people had our wedding and it fit everyone very comfortably. However, my friend had attended a wedding there where there was 120 people and she said it felt very crowded.

The view is incredible. The space is also very nicely laid out.

Our wedding reception was on Sunday and there was another wedding reception there the night before. The room was not cleaned when we got there like it was supposed to be. We had to spend a lot of time in the morning vacuuming and wiping tables.

The staff was okay. Caitlin the events person was very nice and helpful. Thom, the person at the front desk was not. He made it seem as though we were intruding upon his private time very time we called or visited. Our captain was very helpful in directing everyone where to park. She was also very helpful with any questions.

I bought my wedding ring there because it was the only place where I found something I liked. It is a very unique piece. That said, it was a bit expensive for what it was. I don't think that a similar ring would have cost as much anywhere else.

Also, I bought a ring that was too big and so I went to exchange it for a smaller size. The second ring took three weeks to arrive even though it was supposed to arrive in one week. Our sales person was also very difficult to reach. They have a system where the only person who can help you is your sales person, which was very frustrating.

Overall pretty good.

good points: Very friendly and helpful in the days before the wedding. Really great at organizing everything, obviously very experienced. He even cut and plated Chinese pastries that we did not order from him for free.

Bad point: He pushed the beverage service too much. He even lied to us about how he had catered a wedding where the wedding party was fined $5,000 when a surprise police inspection found an uncle working at the bar who had drunken alcohol. We call the Licqour Control Board in Olympia and they said that there is no such law that would result in such a fine.

She was terrible! She did NOT listen to what I wanted. I had asked for a "less is more" design. She said Ikebana, I said okay. The design was not Ikebana to say the least. They were stuffy and overbearing and OLD! Might have been okay if I was 50+.

Also, she didn't put enough water in the trays for the flowers and they became wilted an hour after the start of the reception.

Absolutely terrible!
