My husband and his friends had an awesome time karting! Even though it was suppose to be a 'guy's only' event, we snuck over to the race track and watched them drive around for the last thirty minutes. It's a great track, it's indoor so you don't need to worry about the weather, and everyone gets their own kart, and I can see why people would want to spend several hours all day there. They had made reservations for a private party, and that included their own room with catered food, pizza and pop, tv and video games. It was really everything that a bachelor would love!

This was the company that I had rented for my parent's anniversay, so I called them again for my wedding day. This was perhaps the easiest part in the planning! I just called up and requested two cars, and provided the date and the time and the number of people. The limousines were clean, the driver showed up on time, and it was fun to drive around town for a while al dressed up.

I would give them ten stars if I could! Cheyenne and her husband were absolutely wonderful as photographers on our wedding day! They took so many beautiful shots of me and my bridal party, as well as me and my husband. I think what made the experience great was that Cheyenne was really professional, and during our consultations she explained what would be good ideas for photo shoots, offered us some really helpful suggestions with the planning, and overall was just a wonderful person to work with. I am so happy that I have so many happy memories of my wedding saved in these beautiful photos.

I had a very specific bouquet in mind, so I went to the Flower Diva and asked them if they could replicate it for me. They were able to create for me the bouquet of my dream! I was so happy with the job that they did, and the excellent job they did creating bouquets for my bridesmaids and flower girl. The bouquets were fresh and beautiful, and we also paid a great price.

Modern Salon is a wonderful salon, very clean and everyone on staff is very professional. I explained that I wanted a consultation for my wedding hair style, and they quickly set me up with a consultation. I had a wonderful consultation! The styist, Lauren, quickly helped me and my bridesmaids decide on up-dos that really complimented our features, in styles that were simple and classic. On our wedding day everything went according to schedule, there were no delays of problems in the planning. It was fun place to be, too, because of the funky atmosphere and the cute caf e that we would sit at while we waited for Lauren. My hair and make-up looked wonderful, and it stayed in place all night!

My engagement ring was a surprize, but we both went in together and looked over matching wedding bands. Even though I think Kay is a very commercial, they do have some nice rings, and I think my engagement ring is actually really trendy looking. My husband and I are also both very confident in the quality of the diamonds at Kay, and we know that my engagement ring is a high quality ring. The one drawback is that some of the salespeople who work at Kay's may not be the most professional. I think we were lucky and both times we were greeted and served by someone who was very kind and professional, but we could see other clients in the store were not as lucky.

We went to several Michael locations when it came time to chose our wedding invitation kits. Even thought Michael's is a chain and they are all suppose to carry the same things, I think some Michael's are nicer than others, and other Michael's have a better selection. We bought out wedding invitation kits, and then some extra bridal shower supplies. It took us three days to get all the invitations ready, but they looked beautiful. They have a range in the quality of the cards and the prices, and I think we got excellent quality cards for a fair price.

A free website was a great way for us to spread the word that we were engaged and that we had chosen a wedding date. I loved how we were able to write up our story, post pictures, and then ask friends to sign and confirm the guestbook as to whether or not they could make our wedding. There's even an option that lets guests say whether they want the vegetarian meal or not! The shortcoming of this is that many of our relatives are not on the net, so they were a little upset to be left out of the save-the-date frenzy. I felt bad that so many relatives never saw the site, because it was really cute!

We need simple alterations for the bridesmaids dresses, and my mother suggested Anna's Alteration because it was so close to her house. Anna did an amazing job with the bridesmaids' dresses. It took less than a week for her to hem and take in three dresses. I also think Anna gave us an excellent price. She's super friendly, and she's great at what she does.

Ebay is a great place to get designer clothing for a fraction of the cost, or even to get designer dresses that you can't get anywhere else. My bridesmaids were really great about letting me pick out the dresses. Cherlone Dress, the seller's store, had a great selection of dresses. I found dozens that I thought would suit my bridesmaids right away, and then I bought them via auction. I paid between $30-40 for dresses that would otherwise cost me hundreds of dollars in the store. But more importantly the dresses were unique and I haven't seen anything else like that in stores around here. The dresses arrived within a week, they were packaged carefully, and they looked just like the pictures.
