Colleen used to work out of Minneapolis under the name Paisley Road Photography. My husband and I met her for a "Trash the Dress" ("Rock the Dress") shoot at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.

She was excellent to work with - she had good ideas, told me exactly what she needed me to do and produced some great shots.

I would definitely work with her again.

What I Ordered: Recycled white full sheet labels, recycled white 1 2/3" labels, water resistant white vinyl full sheet labels

Rating: Great - good prices, fast and careful shipping, and they give you a 10% off code if you sign up for their email list. The label quality was good, the heavily inked (vinyl) labels I made did smear a bit, but the ones with less ink did not. Once dried all the way, they withstood water well. This was the only label place I found that had 100% post-consumer recycled label face.

What I Ordered: Samples and full order of white recycled A2 envelopes, cardstock and text weight paper and A9 envelopes in Sand Specks.

What I Ordered: A-line Crinoline

Rating: Excellent - received order in three days (on a Saturday!) - crinoline was a great price and good quality. Slips are "one size fits most" and easily adjustable to fit anyone. Would definitely recommend them.

What I Ordered: Personalized black fleece hoodie

Rating: Great - good quality - shipped in time they gave me - true to size. Many washes later, the whole thing still looks good. Get coupon codes from retailmenot.com to cut the cost.

What I Ordered: 5" wooden letter "H"

Rating: EXCELLENT! Ed was prompt and courteous with emails and had a great product for a great price. I can't recommend him enough.

When I went in for my trial, I left my inspiration pictures at home. I tried to verbally convey what I wanted, but I wasn't pleased with the results. I had to change my appointment times, though, and ended up with a different girl doing my hair. This time, I brought my pictures, plus pictures of my trial and my hair looked exactly how I wanted it. She did things exactly how I asked (no flat iron before curling, no crunchy sprayed hair). It stayed looking nice all night, too.

My girls' hair also looked great. My seven year old (flower girl) went to her seat with her tiara and whatever ideas she had in her head and looked beautiful and my picky sister was pleased with her updo as well. The only thing I would say to watch out for is to ask for the cost - depending on who you use, prices range from $55-75 and they don't tell you how much it will be when you book your appointment unless you ask. And for what it's worth, my trial was more expensive than my "day of" hair.

What can I really say except that it's David's? They had the dress I wanted for a decent price. Besides being really pushy, our service was good the first time and crappy the second. If you buy your dress from David's, try on their crinoline and bra with it, but just remember what you tried on there and buy it somewhere else. I spent $80 on a bra that made me look like my dress didn't fit and left big red marks on my sides where the bones ended (pain.) - I would have been much better off if I had worn my Victoria's Secret strapless with it - and much more comfortable.

This is a van/shuttle service available in the Northwest metro - we got their contact information from our hotel. The guy we talked over the phone was really helpful and informative. Then the driver we had that night was really nice. We mainly wanted the shuttle to get all the kids back to the hotel with the teenagers. My brother rode with so he could check them in to the hotel and ended up staying to hang out with my cousins who were already in their room - for 45 minutes. Even though he ran past the time we had scheduled for the shuttle to be there and the driver had to leave to fulfill another appointment, she still came back to pick him up and take him back to the reception. Then she waited all night for us to get done just to bring Husband and me back to the hotel. I tipped her well. :) The downside with them is that they don't have a website or contracts or anything - but they came through very well for me.
