Julie Ponzini is not only a fabulous cake designer, but a great person! Love her personality and spunk. Much like our floral designer we felt very confident with Julie and that she would create exactly what we had wanted. She has many years of experience in this industry so it was always refreshing to speak with her.

I am not a big dessert person and I don't typically eat the cake at weddings...I'm assuming its because the drinking takes place of dessert! but my wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. I had talked to Julie about our little budget and she was very understanding and still made a cake that was beautiful, fancy, yummy, and affordable. Please take a look at my profile to see how great our cake turned out!

LOVE Perfect Day Music!! Great price and you're dealing with someone that really knows music and what he's doing. Noel Plumb, the owner, has great energy and really knows how keep things moving along the timeline of the wedding! We liked Noel from the moment we met him. The day of the wedding he did a great job of communicating with us, but taking control of moving things along. He also played music for a little longer than we had scheduled and still gave us a great price. He is worth every penny and them some!

Also a good selection of music for our crowd. Most of our guest either want hip hop, old school, 80s or salsa/merengue. He did a fabulous job of reading our guests and playing exactly what they wanted! We danced all night.

Once we've paid the debts of our wedding off and can afford to throw a big bash....We will no doubt ask Noel to DJ.

If you want your invitations to be different than your typical wedding invitations, Paper Source is a great place to get some great ideas. They are expensive, but if you want nice quality its worth it. Our invitations turned out really nice and didn't look homemade. They have lots of different paper to chose from and paper with great prints! They also have these card kits. Very cool! I'm not too sure if they have the kits for wedding invitations, I'm sure they do, but i know have them for other occassions. I liked this because if you're a person that wants something different, but isn't too creative these kits are perferct for you.

There is something very special about this store. I know this sounds weird, but my girl friends and I have been going there for years now. There is a group of seven of us girls that have been friends since grade school and the day the first one us got married, we've all had Bridal Image on our list of bridal shops to check out. It never fails, most of us walked out of this place with "the dress"! Although its not in the most appealing area in SF, and its not one of your typical style bridal boutiques, Bridal Image has EXCELLENT customer service and great prices. Sadly, I'm the last of my girls to get married so i'm sad to say that I will miss Bridal Image and wish them much success because they are a GREAT place!

I was unsure about the Yacht club, but in the end was SOOO glad that we had our wedding there! My husband loved the yacht club from the moment we first saw it. I thought it might be a little too rustic for me, but once everything was decorated I loved it for what it is, unique. It ended up being exactly what we had wanted, something different. We've been to so many weddings at winery's or in a beautiful gardens and although that is a wonderful way to go, there is something to say about how romantic Bodega can be. The yacht club has a huge fireplace as a focal point in the room and it added so much to the ambiance of the reception.

As far as service goes, Hayley Williams was our contact at the yacht club. She was great, but I have a feeling Bodega Harbour needs to offer her a little help. She seems to do a lot over there! Hayley was VERY accommadating to us. We were on a strict budget, but she was patient with us and helped us put together a menu that all our guests were really pleased with.

Also, if you're planning a wedding in Bodega Bay. The weather changes so quickly, you never know what you're going to get. Make sure you have a back plan for your back up plan. It was pouring rain the days before our wedding and we were suppose to do our ceremony outside on a grassy knoll at the Inn at the Tides, needless to say that didn't happen. I was FREAKING OUT about what we were going to do and Hayley lifted the weight of my panic and said, that if we wanted to do the ceremony at the Yacht club to just let her know by 1pm, the afternoon of the wedding! We were so grateful because it was an option offered in the midst of having no other options, other than outside on muddy grass!! Thank you Hayley for giving us hope!! Lucky for us the day of the wedding it was a beautiful sunny day and we were able to do the ceremony outside on a pier. BUT I am 100% sure that the ceremony would have been perfect at the yacht club. It probably would have been even more romantic.

Wine Country Flowers can a turn a shrub into a spectacular centerpeice! they did a phenomenal job for our wedding! Anita, the designer, has an incredible of sense of style & innovation when it comes to her floral designs! We had no clue what we wanted. We did, however, know that we didn't want plain 'ol flower vases filled with marbles sitting on top of mirrors. We wanted something unique that represented our style. Our knowledge of flowers is minimal, and I'm ashamed to admit mine is minuscule! But Anita has a talent of creating a vision that brings your wedding to life. We felt confident that when all was said and done she would design something that we would love and of course did. She introduced us to flora I didn't even know existed!

Other than the flowers, something that we were VERY pleased with was that, Anita/Wine Country Flowers is VERY familiar with so many different venues & vendors. Through her we found an amazing cake designer and a great DJ. She became a reliable resource of information for us. Every time we spoke with her we felt better about decisions we were making about the ceremony & reception. As you'll learn, planning your wedding can get a little chaotic with details to remember, so its comforting to know that you're dealing with professionals that know what their doing and love it!
