DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!!!!! I'm the maid of honor in my friends wedding who decided to buy her wedding dress at Alfred Angelo in BH. The service we received when we first went to the store was satisfactory but that all went out the window the second they received her money. They conned her into paying $400 for alterations with some nonsense about how the dress is guaranteed. That was the biggest mistake EVER! The seamstress, Jasmine, had her dress for 5 MONTHS and the bride had nothing but problems every fitting she went to. The first fitting they ignored her for 1.5 hours even though she had an appointment, the second fitting the sales associates at the store gave us all the wrong information and wanted to change her appointment, even though she had scheduled it 4 months in advance, because the seamstress was swamped with new clients. I was at that fitting with her and the only thing that the seamstress needed to do was put some bra cups in, reattach the lace that she had removed to take the dress in and mix the hem. Which for anyone that sews, knows that's not a very long list of tasks to achieve. Well the seamstress scheduled the bride to pick up her dress 6 weeks later. The day before the bride was to pick up the dress the seamstress called her and informed her that she had a personal conflict and wouldn't be in the store on the day of her scheduled pick up and wanted to reschedule for saturday. The bride needed to ship the dress to the east coast, which is where her wedding is, no later then that saturday so she said she needed it sooner. The seamstress said she would drop it off the next day. Now, as a side note the bride called the store and the seamstress, Jasmine, was actually in the store that day she was just apparently very busy. So the bride goes and picks up the dress on thursday and requests to have a fitting room to try it on. The sales associate, Valerie, REFUSED! She said it smelled like it had been steamed and to not take it out of the bag until her wedding day!!!! Well of course since that's the MOST RIDICULOUS thing anyone's heard the bride brought the dress home and tried it on. First the seamstress sewed the lining at the top of the dress to the outside so it was entirely bunched up until a thread broke and then the seamstress never hemmed the underskirt and the hemming she did to the outer layer was completely crooked. The dress has a lace overlay and on one half the lace fell below the satin and the other half it was above. Also now the bodice is all scrunching up where it laid flat before and she bunched up the fabric where she sewed in the bra cup. At this point the bride no longer trusted the store and took her dress to Milt and Eddie's in Burbank where they had her dress back to her within 24 hours and it was perfect! Now the bride is trying to get some refund because the store did not give her the service she was promised and Tiffany, the store manager, and Rebecca, the district manager are refusing! Rebecca claims that the bride didn't give them the opportunity to fix the problem. The seamstress had the dress for 5 months she had plenty of time to finish everything! I have never seen a customer be treated so poorly by a store in my entire life. Do yourself a huge favor and save yourself thousand of tears that you are GUARANTEED to shed from buying your dress from this wretched store that dares to call itself a bridal boutique. Also research them on the better business bureau website, there's not a single Alfred Angelo store in all of southern california that has received higher then a D. Goes to show what kind of company they really are.
