When I was planning my wedding, I wasn't planning on using a wedding coordinator not only because I couldn’t fit it into my budget; but I've always been well organized and well prepared so I didn't think it was necessary. But then I met Jennifer from Charming Occasions and I figured it might be worth it to have my wedding run that much smoother, even though I thought I had things under control.

I met with Jennifer a few months before my wedding. I had already booked all my vendors and had all my designs and décor picked out. I gave Jennifer all of the vendor and contract information. She pretty much took over from there. I believe she did the equivalent of "month of coordination." From that point on she handled everything. Every little concern/ question I had, I just emailed her and she communicated with the country club. (And the person at the country club was very difficult to deal with). I felt like I was bothering Jennifer, but she assured me I wasn't and it was her job. She took care of every little thing I had mentioned and made note of it. She did the timelines for the day of (including hair and make up schedules and vendor arrival times). She was on top of everything. I thought I had everything covered, but she brought up stuff I hadn't even thought about. She made sure she knew who had what (my brother in law brought a projector for our photo montage as well as the dvd), she made sure she knew what to pick up (cake cutting set, toasting flutes, etc) and where to put them. She put all the presents away in my mother in law’s car and that was arranged before the wedding day. She literally did everything for me. I felt like I should have been doing more during the weeks leading up to my wedding.

Also, during the rehearsal dinner, we met with the banquet manager who was a different person than we had been dealing with all year. Jennifer convinced the banquet manager to let us use the smaller ballroom for our cocktail hour for free that they normally charge an extra $1000 to rent out during an event. The banquet manager even told my mother in law that Jennifer was the most professional coordinator he had ever met and he couldn't believe she was just starting out. He said a lot of coordinators like to run their own show and only have the bride's concerns in mind. She not only did everything we asked but she worked well with the venue. Jennifer had even brought my husband and his groomsmen their favorite beer when we were taking pictures after the ceremony. That won my husband over!

Jennifer kept me completely stress free. I actually had a hard time letting her take over, but I'm glad I did. You hear of brides that don’t get to relax and enjoy their wedding, but I was able to enjoy every aspect of my wedding. I didn't get consumed in the little details because I knew Jennifer would take care of whatever needed attention. She did an amazing job being on task with everything and everyone. She worked well with all of our family, bridal party and vendors. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect night and we owe that to Jennifer. I highly recommend Jennifer from Charming Occasions!

What first attracted me to Bella Blooms was their good reviews among other brides, their reasonable prices, and great work. I first met with Melanie would took a detailed description of what I wanted to give me the most accurate quote. Melanie seemed enthusiastic to work with bright colors and was very open to my ideas that I had. They even met me at my venue site to show me a trial centerpiece. On the wedding day the flowers were amazing. The only thing I would have changed would be the ceremony arrangements. They were a little small, but I guess I am to blame since I never specified any size to Bella Blooms. Overall, Bella Blooms did an amazing job and they even set up the mirrors and votives even though I didn't rent them from them.

Our cake was included in our package but we chose Rossmoor out of three bakeries. They were the best tasting and had some great flavors. Our main layer was chocolate cake with chocolate raspberry bavarian cream. The design was perfect too. We choose one they had on display and my mom said the cake looked fake on the wedding day because it was so perfect.

I used Robles Video for my July 29th wedding. I booked them because when I was searching for a venue I received a bunch of ceremonies and receptions DVDs all done by Robles. I had seen their work several times so it seemed like the only option. They are a little pricey but so far my experience has been outstanding. They're very extensive with the questions, making sure you're getting exactly what you want on the wedding day and for the final video.

We had Drew as our videographer for the day of and he was all over getting every little detail. What I really liked was having two cameras for the ceremony. There was also a 2nd camera taping the cocktail hour while the other camera was with us for the photo shoots. My edit date is for early September so my review is pending the final product. Very Happy

Isaiah was great for the price. I was more concerned about price over anything. He was great to work with. He did family portraits and our engagement pictures as well. His style is more traditional, not photojournalistic or anything. Great photographer for a bride on a budget!

I was married there on July 29, 2006. I had an overall great experience. The event sales person I dealt with all year was a little hard to get a hold of at times but she always kept her word and came through on things. The banquet manager who pretty much took over from the rehearsal on (was there the entire night during our reception) was awesome! He threw in the smaller extra ballroom to use for our cocktail hour for free. Los Coyotes is such a beautiful place and the packages are the best for the price! I definitely recommend it.

My husband's parents and all their friends have gone to Michael for years. We trust him and love all his designs. If he doesn't have it already made, he's willing to create it for you. His prices are great and the quality of the diamonds are even better. My engagement ring, wedding band, and my husband's wedding band, as well as other pieces of jewelry have all been made by Michael. We couldn't be happier! I highly recommend him as a jeweler!

I know she's not an LA vendor but if you're in the area, she's definitely worth checking out. Candi made my single layer, cascade cut, diamond white, 65" long veil with a thin ribbon edge for $39.50 and it was done in 4 days! She has done several OC brides. I highly recommend her!

I went to about 4 dress shops, Jinny's was the 2nd one. I went on a Saturday without an appointment- OMG, I know. I actually had great customer service. I only tried on one dress (I was discouraged from the previous bridal shop with no luck of finding a dress). It turns out that the one dress was THE one. I didn't buy it then but I came back about 2 more times to try it on before them. They let me try it on and were very helpful each time. They even measured one of my bridesmaids knowing that we weren't ordering our bridesmaids dresses through them. Overall great experience, but I'd recommending going during the week and making an appointment.
