My friend referred Carmela and we were so happy with her beautiful penmanship and it added a special touch to our wedding day. She calligraphed 200 programs and 220 placecards, as well as other signs for our beverages, reserved seating, etc. We had great communication and she's highly experienced. We were in a rush and Carmela was able to finish everything and shipped it to us within 5 business days (we're in CA). She is one of the most talented and reasonably priced calligraphers out there. We spent less than $100 on everything, including shipping. Other calligraphers were charging $300+ for the same service. I highly recommend using Carmela!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! I found them online and couldn't believe that they were renting our chiavari chairs for $5 each! After confirming with my wedding coordinator that they were legit and reliable, we booked them immediately. On our wedding day, they arrived and set up on time. We payed extra to have the chairs moved from the ceremony to the reception area. The chairs were almost brand new and you can't get a deal like this anywhere else. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful experience working with Trish Hook from CPR. She was very responsive, nice and helpful when I was left with only 4 months of planning time before the wedding. They tried to work within my budget and gave me a discount on certain items. We rented 8 chandeliers that were around our budget ($85 each), but didn't look that great and were old. A week before the wedding, Trish tells me that they just got in some brand new chandeliers and will use them for our event at no additional cost. I didn't get to see them until the wedding day and everyone was blown away by how beautiful they were! Trish was on site that morning until they were finished and made sure everything was set up correctly. CPR is reliable, experienced, and competitively priced.

Hands down, one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in LA. The scenery is so picturesque--the mountains, lush green lawns, and animals grazing in the background. Our guests were pleasantly surprised by the bisons, zebras, llamas, horses, and peacocks that roamed the 1,000 acre property. Everyone loved the venue!

The venue is a blank canvas and does require A LOT of planning and attention to details. You will need to bring in your own caterer, event rentals (chairs to utensils)and any additional lighting. They do already have the twinkle lights hanging down from the tree brances and some uplighting. We rented 8 chandeliers and had more lighting set up to bring out the ambiance. We had the reception by the main house and certain areas by the fences were too dark in the evening and definitely needed additional lighting.

The venue is very strict with their policies! You will need to hire their recommended valet service and security, which will cost you an additional $5k on top of the site rental fee(depending on your guest count, where you have the wedding on the property, and the hours of your event). Some of your vendors are required to have insurance such as your wedding coordinator, band/DJ, catering, lighting, event rentals.

The Kitchen did an amazing job! I had an outdoor ranch/winery wedding and served a 3 course meal for 222 people. We were very worried in the beginning about hiring the right caterer because my parents and many of our guests are serious foodies. Not a lot of people expect wedding food to be any good or have any expectations at all. But everyone was pleasantly surprised that everything from the appetizers to the entree was so delicious!

The staff at the Kitchen were very responsive and friendly when I was selecting the choices for our menu. Peggy, the owner, personally reviewed our meal selections with us. She even gave me a signed copy of her book! Their pricing is also very affordable and reasonable. We served 5 appetizers, filet mignon or chilean sea bass, creme brulee, red velvet cupcakes, and an assortment of iced teas and lemonades. They also suggested to us in order to save money, we can buy our own alcohol and drinks from Costco and they wouldn't charge us any extra fees. We also had a terrific tasting for four. The food exceeded our expectatations and it was perfect! Peggy was very helpful and made sure everything would taste the same on our wedding day. We told them not to overcook the filet mignon and to serve it rare to a medium rare. We really don't like it when the meat is overcooked, even slightly overcooked. The filet came out rare/medium rare as promised. We received so many compliments on the food!

In the end, the total bill was very close to the estimate. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend the Kitchen!

Peilin Breller did an awesome job on my wedding day. I did a trial with her and Rachelle for my hair a month before and they were very honest and helpful with choosing the right look for me. I wanted to look more natural since it was an outdoor wedding, but also wanted my makeup to stand out in photos. I had a bad experience with another trial (way too much makeup)and Peilin knew exactly what I wanted. After the trial, I did tell Peilin what I wanted to fix. On my wedding day, they arrived on time and worked fast. At first, I wasn't too pleased with my makeup because it looked a bit different from the trial. Peilin fixed it in no time. When I got my pictures from my photographer, I was surprised how natural and beautiful I looked!

Wonderful experience working with Linda. We hired Linda a year before our wedding date. Planning my wedding wasn't easy because I live in China. Linda was there every step of the way and made our dream wedding happen. Six months into the planning, we decided to switch venues and Linda was very nice and patient about it. She was also very helpful and responsive when I needed vendor referrals, planning advice, etc. She always made time for us and went out of her way at times to help us out.

On our wedding day, she and her team were so helpful and everything went smoothly. The venue was a ranch/winery and the space for the ceremony, cocktails, and reception was quite big. They were running around and got everything set up and placed. She was so sweet and stayed until the wee hours of the morning to help clean up. I really couldn't of asked for anyone better. She's sweet, responsible, diligent, patient, honest, and helpful. I would highly recommend her to any bride!

My mom and I made an appointment for a consultation at Cake Divas. Our consultant was very nice and helpful during the tasting. When she estimated the total cost of the wedding cake she said that they will work with us to accomodate our budget. I gave her our budget for the cake and she went to ask her boss, Leigh. Leigh came out and spoke to my mom in such a rude and offensive manner. Instead of offering a polite explanation and trying to work with our budget, she told us that if she knew our budget beforehand she wouldn't of gone through the consultation and waste anyone's time. She also said they were a high end bakery and that they don't do cakes that were below $8 per person. She was so rude that even our consultant felt embarrassed of her behavior.

I had to write this review because I felt that Leigh disrepected us as potential clients and my mom was furious with her attitude.

PLEASE BEWARE BEFORE BUYING!

Mon Amie was the third bridal boutique I visited and I found a beautiful Lazaro gown. Lazaro just happened to have a trunk show there that weekend and I was able to get a 10% discount. The Lazaro gown I purchased turned out to be a HUGE disappointment. The dress came in one style, but two different silhouettes (an A-line and fit-and-flare). One of the dresses was owned by Mon Amie and the other one was part of the trunk show. The silhouette that I wanted was the one from the trunk show and more of a fit-and-flare. When I purchased the gown, Caitlin (my salesperson) told me that she ordered the silhouette from the trunk show and said that there were 2 different silhouettes for the dress. But when I picked up the dress and tried it on, it was the A-line and looked like a completely different dress altogether! I was so upset and called Mon Amie and spoke to the manager, Joan about it. She told me to bring the dress in, and when I did Caitlin and Joan told me that it was the dress that I wanted and that they didn't make a mistake on the order. I felt I was gained up on! Caitlin's attitude really bothered me when she said that the A-line and fit-and-flare were the same thing and just dismissed this whole ordeal. They said that the dress from the trunk show (which I liked) was probably fitted and altered for the model. But when I bought the dress, they said it came in two silhouettes. I did not get a straight answer or clarification from either one of them and on top of that, they wanted to charge me $600 for alterations! I walked out of there angry with regret. I called Lazaro's corporate office and they told me that the dress only came in one silhouette. I would not recommend Mon Amie because I do not think that they are honest. Once you've made the purchase, they have a different attitude and would not give you the service you deserve. I hate to have gone through this when it should have been a happy experience.

**After negotiating the alterations down to $500 because I needed to change the entire silhouette to a mermaid shape, it took 5 fittings to get it right. When the dress was finished, there were a few dirty spots on the bust and lower parts of the gown. I addressed this to the seamstress and she said it was because of all those fittings that got it dirty. They couldn't remove the stains and didn't want to risk any more damages to it. I told them that I don't feel comfortable paying the $500 when my dress was not in the same condition I purchased it in. The seamstress was very kind and understanding of my entire ordeal with this dress and told me to take it home and she'll take it as a loss. So I ended up not paying a cent for the alterations. She was even sweet enough to call me afterwards to tell me that I looked beautiful in it and not to second guess my decision.
