I was going to use M & M bakery but decided to have our caterer do our cake because there would be less fees that way. The caterer would charge cake cutting fee if they didn't make it and plate and silverware rental as well. But M & M was the best price in the area. For 2009 they went up to $1.50 per slice and everyone else is over 2.00 per slice. They are very friendly and if you make an appointment they bring out a few different cakes with different frostings. None of the other cake shops I went to offered a tasting.

We are going to be using Dunhill. The bridesmaids dresses are from Davids bridal and the color I chose was Terracotta and they tell you that MW Tux carries all their colors which they do not. I brought a swatch to Dunhill and the terracotta swatch matches their palm beach coral perfectly, also they offer free rental for the groom, ringbearer and father of the bride. While I was there they offered free shoes with all the tux's as well and they have invitation specials which I am going to use as well. All working with Jenna. Next section is with Christina She was the rudest vindictive woman I have dealt with through my wedding process. I had Dunhill do my invites as well and I paid extra for a proof that came back and looked perfect. My invites came in and my name was spelled wrong so she immediatly called and said she sent them back and they had a rush on them. Well they came in a week later and she called me. I asked her if they were going to take the money off for the proof that I paid for and did not matter at all. She said no they reprinted the invites for freeas they should)and I told her I didn't feel I should have to pay for the proof and she finally gave in and said she would take that money off. I asked my mom to go pick them up and they were mysteriously gone. They told her my invites weren't in yet. I called less than 5 minutes after my mom left and they had apparently just been delivered. So Steve(awesome guy) brought them to me instead of making me make another trip. Steve and Jenna get 5 stars Christina gets none.

Kay has a nice selection and they are able to let you chose your own stone and band and mix and match. They were friendly and fairly priced. The only thing is they do not match prices, we found a ring across the mall that was exactly the same and they would not match or beat the price. They brought their price down some but not as low as the other company.

I would love to have my reception at the grand rapids museum but it is pricy and you can't start your reception until after the museum closes at 6pm. They do offer specials in the winter though. They have a really unique carosel as well. I have seen pictures of weddings there and it is beautiful.

I have Adeline Leigh booked for our May wedding. I have been to other wedding that they have catered and they are very nice. Their employees dress for the occasion and the food is very nice. They have tastings throughout the year so you can try the food prior to the wedding. The person to talk to is Anne and she is very friendly and helpful. They have great prices and the house buffet is a great deal.

I went to the west michigan bridal show last fall and also one they put on at the Grand Volute and the fall show I was really dissapointed with and the one at the Grand Volute was pretty good except I asked them before I filled out the card at the door if they were going to give out my info and they stated "No this is just for our records" the week following I had over 30 spam emails and about 12 unsolicited calls. I emailed them and advised that I was strait up lied to and they gave my personal info without my authorization. Will not attend again or recommend to anyone.

Great service. Would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a dress that is elegant but different. She has a shop that carries dresses that the big chains do not have. Very helpful and friendly as well.

The employees are helpful but somewhat impatient. Everyone has told me when you find "THE" dress you will know. My friends advised me while I was in the dressing room trying on dresses one of the girls helping me doing the loud sighs and rolling her eyes. And pretty much made it known that she was sick of finding me dresses. And really we did not have her do much mostly we just used the room, we went and looked for our own dresses but she also brought some that she thought I would like, which was nice, but as a bride you should be able to be somewhat picky when it comes to your wedding gown especially after how much they cost. In the end I did not end up getting my dress through them even though there was one I really liked and when we went to go do bridesmaids dresses the girl that was helping me almost got upset that I didn't order my dress through them.
