petticoat, crioline. The dress shops want to charge $80-$100 for these things and they are nothing but a bunch of toole and a drawstring. I got mine, new, on ebay for $20-$30. It was one size fits all, and it was perfect. Probably even a better quality than Alfred Angelos.

Marc was out of Grand Junction, CO. He was so nice and kind to us, talked to us on the phone before the big day and made sure he incorporated everything important to us. I was so nervous during the ceremony, but he kept looking at me with his sweet face and kind smile that it put me at ease and calmed me down. Well, as calm as I could possible be!

I bought my engagement ring from Helzberg in 2005. We purchased the "lifetime" warrenty on it. Every few months, I have to send the ring off to get the diamonds tightened. The large center diamond has broken off twice now-the first time I found it, the second time I did not find it. Helzberg replaced it with no hassle. My only complaint- we had to re-purchase the 'lifetime' warrenty in Dec 2008. Doesn't lifetime mean-LIFETIME!! Other than that, I love Helzberg.

This free guide is available on the internet, or in various locations throughout Colorado. It is packed with good information. I lived in Houston and planned my entire Colorado wedding from this guide!!

I picked up so many little things at Hobby Lobby and saved a fortune. We made our own favors, seating tags, etc. In the floral dept they can make a throw boquet-a replica of your real boquet. You get to keep your boquet, and some lucky girl gets to have a silk flower one that will last forever.

This resort had the most beautiful backdrop for wedding pictures. Aspen groves, views of the mountains, baby deer running around. Some of my wedding pictures are so beautiful they almost look like they were staged! We picked Elk Mountain Resort (Montrose, CO) because of its location and small church. Our entire wedding consisted of 12 people-so the small church was perfect and it did not feel empty when we were inside. The staff at Elk Mountain was great, I dont think we ever opened a door ourselves the whole weekend!
Everyone who saw my Alfred Angelo dress (or pictures of the dress) absolutly loved it. Everyone also thought the dress must have cost thousands of dollars because it was so unique and beautiful. I bought it off the rack for $600!!

The cake was made by the head chef at Elk Mountain Resort in Montrose Co. It was the best tasting buttercream I have ever had. I also got to sample his other pastries at the Sunday brunch, they were faboulous!

Drew and Amy Semel from Durango CO did a great job. They worked really hard to make everyone feel comfortable, they gave direction without getting in the way or taking over the wedding.
