We had April as our videographer and she was great on our wedding day. She showed up on time and captured all our big moments. I have to say that videography wasn't high on my priority list for the wedding, but after seeing the video and the highlight video we were very pleased with the results.

They made sure to capture all the important parts of our wedding day and even sent us extra copies of our DVDs. They also did my maid of honor's wedding this year and did a wonderful job with their video. I would highly recommend Robles Video.

I was not satisfied with Metropolitan Shuttle on our wedding day. The bus shuttle was slow and did not have on time departures. Our guests had to leave the reception early so they could catch the last shuttle and ended up having to sit on the shuttle for around an hour instead of enjoying the wedding.
Jill from M's Flowers did an incredible job with out flowers. The flowers really made our wedding decor and we still have guests raving about how fantastic the floral arrangements were. Jill was very professional and met with me countless times to understand my design vision. She created two trials for me which I loved and even surpassed my expectations on our wedding day. The flowers were vibrant, colorful and really works of art. I would highly recommend Jill to anyone looking for a florist in the Southern California area.
The elephant from Have Trunk Will Travel was a huge hit at our wedding. She was very well trained and came dressed in Indian garb (right down to wearing anklets). The elephant was so well behaved even our four year old ring bearer was happy to jump on and ride into the ceremony with my husband. The trainer was very professional and on time. I would highly recommend this to any Indian bride for a unforgettable Baarat.

This was a great splurge for the wedding! The guests LOVED the photobooth and raved about it long after the wedding was over. It was so nice to get the scrapbook and pictures in the mail after our wedding and see what our guests were up to. I would make sure to announce the photobooth multiple times during the wedding and encourage guests to take pictures (we forgot to do this). The custom banner was beautiful and incorporated artwork from our invitations as well. They were on time, professional and a great company to work with.

Arthur Murray Dance Studios did a good job teaching us some basic dance moves. They made us feel comfortable dancing to our wedding song and getting up in front of a large crowd. The only downfall was the very high price tag.

Dina is an incredible photographer. From the moment I stumbled across her website and saw her vibrant, artistic and bold photographs, I knew I had to have her. I didn't even meet her in person before I booked her - just based on our phone conversation and the portfolio of her work I knew I had to have her. Dina was warm, funny and knew so much about Indian weddings it put me immediately at ease. I am not Indian so she actually ended up teaching me a few things. We exchanged tons of emails about our wedding and she really took the time to not only understand what we envisioned for our wedding day but also to get to know me and my husband. Its been six months since our wedding and we still exchange emails.
Dina was wonderful on our wedding day and captured all the important moments with over 2500 pictures. She also brought a second shooter to help capture the day. In fact, Dina is so dedicated and passionate about her work, she will be genuinely upset if she can't capture the right photographs (due to time, lighting, etc ). She really strives to please her clients and it shows in her work. I would absolutely recommend Dina to anyone (Indian and non-Indian). Her pictures speak for themselves so if you have any doubts about hiring Dina, visit her website and blog.
Mary was a wonderful wedding coordinator and I truly don't know what I would have done without her. She helped coordinate my 20+ vendors with ease. She even managed to deal with all the madness associated with having a big multi-cultural wedding. She took the time to understand two wedding ceremonies, recommended countless vendors and spend quality time with me understanding exactly what I wanted my wedding day to feel like. The day of the ceremony, we would have been lost without her help - we had to bring in literally everything and she coordinated it all with ease. I don't even remember having to answer any questions the day of the wedding, it was just all taken care of. On top of her professionalism, she is a wonderful and warm person who is incredibly easy to get along with.

Saddlerock Ranch was a perfect venue choice for us. It has almost unlimited room (can hold thousands of guests) and is a blank canvas for a bride to work with. It is an unusual and beautiful setting with vineyards and a ranch with wild animals (zebras, peacocks, etc). The website does not do the property justice - you must see it in person.
If you rent the property, you can bring in almost any vendor you want (we had an elephant brought onto the property). The price does not include anything but the actual rental of the facilities for the evening (including bathrooms and use of a guest house if you get the garden setting). We brought in everything from lighting to dining utensils which was a very tedious process but very doable if you have a wedding coordinator that can organize your vendors. You also must hire security (Robert McKean) as part of the contract clause since it is a private family owned property.
Our guests loved the property and our wedding and reception felt really like a magical, ethereal dream. I'd highly recommend this to brides looking for an unusual outdoor setting with tons of possibility.

Saima designed beautiful and unique save the dates and invitations. I was able to use the design elements through the wedding from the cake to our lighting (gobos) to our programs and seating cards. She was relatively easy to work with although sometimes hard to get a hold of. Her prices are expensive but definitely worth the cost if you are looking for unique and vibrant invitations.
