We picked out very simple rings for my engagement and his wedding band, as well as had a ring he gave me 10 years ago refinished for my wedding band. The saleslady was less than enthused by our budget-minded choices and seemed a little bored. The quality of the rings that we were looking for could only be found there for the price, otherwise we would have chosen a different store.

We gave away tiny baby pine trees as our wedding favors. I even made up my own poem to go with each one and printed them off from home. Everyon absolutely loved them and they were very reasonable! They were shipped very nicely and quickly, and the ordering process was very easy.

We had an extremely romantic and luxurious honeymoon suite at Motor City Casino. The rooms are absolutely posh, and when you finally feel like leaving the room it was fun to go downstairs to mini-vegas. They had lots of live entertainment at all their different bars. This would be a great place to stay before leaving on a big honeymoon, too (close to expressways).

We had an excellent luncheon for my bachelorette party at Rosie's. They gave us an excellent price per person that included mostaciolli, two types of salad, breadsticks and non-alcoholic beverages. We provided the desserts and the fun.

We purchased all of our serving trays, napkins, silver-look plasticware, doilies, cheeses, coffee, creamers, trash can covers, ice buckets, etc. at GFS. Everything there is very cheap. some stuff even cheaper than COSTCO. I highly recommend shopping here if you are doing any of the food serving yourself.

We ordered a large order of high-top cocktail tables, lower round tables, chairs, champagne glasses and table linens. They dropped off and picked up, were extremely pleasant on the phone, and very reasonably priced.

We were on a tight budget for our wedding, so I was extremely happy when I found a beautiful gown on CLEARANCE at the Jessica McClintock store in Twelve Oaks Mall. It was only $200 and beautiful. I got a lot of compliments on it, and no one knew the wiser. The staff at the store wasn't the nicest or most helpful, but the rating is for the price.

The Pastry Palace has the BEST cake ever. The flavor is amazing, the frosting isn't too sweet, and they have fabulous decorators. We chose a smaller tiered cake that was very simple and elegant. They have many great reviews and have made cakes for some pretty famous people.
