Greg is amazing! He is so laid back and easy to deal with. We were referred from a friend and glad that we were! His prices are good and you get exactly what you want. He is not like those cheesy expensive DJs that you find when you google Ottawa DJ.

This place is crazy. I had been twice. The first time I had just started planning and I felt like I was sooo overwhelmed when I left. The second time I needed to actually find some good things/answers and I hardly found anything. Plus you leave with a whole bunch of crap! You better have a recycling box handy!

We were doing DIY for invites. We had gotten a kit from Walmart for the invites and wanted to spruce them up a bit so decided to go shopping for colored envelopes for the RSVP and the outer envelopes. The size of the invitation was one of the strangest sizes to have to find an envelope. The employee working there was great! She provided all the help that we needed in finding the right size and she even found a perfect color for us!

We bought out wedding invites on sale at Walmart in Ogdensburg. They seemed to have a lot on sale. The invites were fairly plain however we did go to the Papery on Bank St. to get some envelopes in colour.

I had a hard time trying to find someone who was available for our Sunday wedding to do hair and make up that didn't cost a fortune! I came across Westboro Spa..which is in an area that I love. They do make up for $46 and updos starting at $50. Best thing was is that they are going to open up for us on the Sunday, which they are normally closed, to do our hair and make up.

We got a great deal from the bridal show. If you can wait to go to the show you put down $10 and get $10 off all the tuxes and you get 4 tuxes and the grooms is free so you cant go wrong. Plus you can pick up/drop off at any Moores in Canada.

I met Christine at the bridal show and signed up to meet her a couple months later to pick out some custom jewelery for my girls. She runs the business out of her home in Orleans. Nicest woman!! I had a hard time trying to make a decision on what to get for my girls, especially because it was all custom made so I didn't have an exact design to see in front of me. She helped me so much come up with a few ideas to put together based on the type of personality my bridesmaids had. It was hard to not want to take all of the designs home!! There were so many beautiful items that she had to choose from.

I had gone to another florist downtown and felt like I was getting pushed into having flowers that I did not want. I used to work in a flower shop, so having the right flowers at the wedding was very important to me. When I went into Weekly Flowers I sat down with the florist and told them my ideas and gave a few pictures. To my surprise they knew exactly what I wanted and were able to give me a much better price then I could have expected. They even gave me the suggestions for doing my own centerpieces since I had the experience doing it. I got the vases from Ikea and am buying the flowers wholesale..saved a lot of $$$

Stathmere is by far one of the best places we have dealt with through the wedding planning process. Lianna has helped us though the beginning and to the end of planning the wedding. We are having the ceremony and reception at the Inn. I have never seen a more stunning, romantic place to get married and as soon as we saw it we knew this was where we wanted to get married!

I went to Eternity Bridal on its first day open. I went in just to take a quick look, no expectations to buy. Walking in the door you first notice how beautiful the store is. Nice dark hardwood floors, a modern bathroom, a large dark wood display..everything I would want in my own home. Then you are greeted by the owner. The service is unbelievable at this bridal shop. She helped me in and out of all of my dresses and made me feel so beautiful in everything I put on. When I found "the one" everyone in the store gasped and I knew that had to be it. Eternity Bridal has been one of the most accommodating places I have dealt with and would even open on her days off in order to fulfill my needs. There are beautiful dresses in a place that makes you feel at home.
