In South Bend, IN this bridal shop is great with amazing service. Unlike David's Bridal, you do not need to have an appointment and walk-ins are welcome! The staff is knowledgeable about the inventory and which dresses you should have to try on! Plenty of quality designer names, including the designer I chose (Maggie Sottero!)

The Paper Depot in Elkhart, IN has tons of wedding supplies from ring bearer pillows to flower girl baskets. What we used from this store, though, was vellum envelopes in the colors of our wedding. We bought a $1 lottery ticket for each guest and placed each in a vellum envelope and in a pile with a sign that said "We hope you get as lucky as we did!" and used this as one of the favors for our guest.

We utilized the weekly 40% off coupon from the sunday paper and bought our do-it-yourself invitations one box/week at a time. We ended up paying about $200 for 360 invitations. They were stylish and modern, and we did the printing ourselves. The invitations came with a computer program to help to format the printing.

There was an engagement ring that we really liked at this store; however, the staff were very rude in the way they treated us. We are only 21 years old each, but are quite independent and we intended on spending about $5000-$6000 on an engagement ring. The staff never asked about our budget, we had to beg to get assistance, and the overall attitude by staff showed an assumption that we would not be a "big sale" for them.

This is wear the bride's engagement and wedding rings are from. They came as a set and are part of the Leo Diamond collection which are amazing quality, much better than the typical quality from a chain jewelry store. We are a younger couple but the staff at this store were some of the only people to take us seriously and treat us as customers rather than a joke.

Out of New Carslile, IN this company rents a photobooth to be used at any event. We use it as a favor for our guest at the wedding. People go into the booth and it takes four consecutive pictures and then prints out within a minute for them. Lots of fun, this seems to be a new trend!

This annual event always takes place at the Century Center in South Bend, IN on one of the first weekends in January. Any bride getting engaged over the holiday season should definately put this event on their calendars! There are plenty of local vendors (100+) and it is a great place to just get ideas and inspiration from the vendors and past weddings they have worked. There are also great prizes given away!

Fresh, young photographer out of Mishawaka, IN. Great quality pictures with artistic style in additional to traditional posed photos. Includes an engagement session, a large print from that engagement session, 10 hours coverage on the wedding day with 2 photographers, a keepsake album, and 100 wedding cards. Same quality as other, more established photographers, but much more reasonably priced!

This caterer in Elkhart, IN has many menu options, including various buffet style dinners as well as plated dinners. We like the buffet where you choose your own entree, vegetable, and starch side options; it also comes with a salad bar and rolls, etc. The food is good quality and the options to choose from are plenty.

Staff were very friendly in this modern, club-like reception venue. On the second floor of a building the room has two walls of windows looking out on downtown South Bend and the College Football Hall of Fame looking amazing all lit up at night. They allow outside caterers so you can have the food of your choice! Only complaint is that the bar packages are a little pricey.
