I first spoke with a representative for Party Pros at a bridal fair at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco. We hadn't really considered doing chair covers, but then it turned out that the only chair option at our reception site was red banquet chairs (which let's face it, aren't that pretty when you've taken all the time and energy to pick linens and centerpieces for your tables).
Conn sent me a follow up e-mail a few months prior to our wedding date to see if we were interested in using Party Pros for our chair cover needs. It was about that time that we had made the decision to cover the chairs, so I started investigating rates and services for chair cover services around the SF bay area.
After doing quite a bit of research, I did find that Party Pros was the most cost-effective option. There were companies that were cheaper, but they were services that shipped you the chair covers and required you to place and break them down yourself (like you have time for that, right?), then ship them back.
Pary Pros was on time for setup, had a nice selection of colors to choose from, and was there to break down and retrieve the covers directly after the conclusion of our reception at 10pm. Everything looked great, and the chair covers were certainly a nice touch.
My only complaint is that I did have some difficulty corresponding through e-mail with Conn on occasion. Understandably, they are a busy company with many priorities, but it is frustrating to wait a week or more for an e-mail/call to be returned when you are in the thick of wedding planning and depending on vendors to return your calls/e-mails in order to confirm services and finalize contracts.
They were friendly and certainly fulfilled their claims, but I sometimes felt like there was a bit more promptness and professionalism that could have gone into some of the correspondence between client and vendor. Overall, Party Pros did a lovely job and I was happy with their services - our reception hall looked great!
