This review is based on my experience in dealing with the photographer and the fact that he ignored all of the direction I gave him and previous conversations. I do not have his prints back yet and I might be pleasantly surprised, but I was quite disappointed on the day of my wedding. We were on a budget and this photographer was a friend of my husbands and offered to do our wedding photography for free. I knew when I saw the website that we were in big trouble, but I did not want to fight with my husband over it. Arnie is a studio photographer and only knows how to do posed photographs and in many instances took 30 minutes just to get one shot. Even after I showed him photos from numerous bios and had several in-depth conversations with him about what I wanted to capture, it didn’t happen for some reason. Not only did he miss most the shots of me getting ready for the wedding, but he stood there drooling over me and making inappropriate comments. If it hadn’t been for one of my bridesmaids and her digital camera, a lot of the getting ready moments would have been missed. Believe it or not, he stood there doing nothing while one of my bridesmaids was busy snapping away at all the moments he was missing by just standing around with his camera. My girls had to prompt him to take pictures instead of just standing there. The other thing he did that pissed me off was drive straight to the cocktail hour when I and my coordinator had discussed at great length with him, that we were allowing an hour for photos after the wedding while the guests were at the cocktail hour. I always knew that I wanted a photojournalistic photographer and sometimes a studio photographer that is accustomed to posing every single frame just does not know how to tell a story through pictures by capturing things as they naturally occur. PHOTOS ARE IMPORTANT…. IF YOU HAVE TO SPEND MONEY ON SOMETHING SPEND IT ON A GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER BECAUSE ONCE YOUR WEDDING IS OVER, ALL YOU WILL HAVE IS YOUR PICTURES AND YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH THEM.

The food was fabulous, the location and view were awesome, but they get a B because the director booked a party right before my reception after I was told that I had the room for the whole day to setup. Of course this happened after they had our deposit and there was nothing I could do. My florist, lighting guy and coordinator only had one hour to get that room together and that made me very angry, but the delicious food and courteous staff made it easy to overlook the inconvenience.

Michelle was a dream to work with. She really brought my vision to life with absolutely gorgeous flowers that brought that extra pizzazz to the day. People were fighting over her centerpieces because everyone wanted to take one home.

This ceremony site was beautiful and we knew we had to get married here. The view of the ocean and the glass chapel were absolutely breathtaking. Our guests raved about it and the staff was helpful and pleasant to work with. They are very strict and will rush you off the grounds, but other than that… a wonderful location.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this lady. From the moment I met her I instantly liked her. She was very patient and helped me stay calm throughout my wedding planning and always read my emails and found time to talk with me when I needed her. A lot of emotional and stressful things occurred during my planning and Steph was more than a coordinator, she became my friend. My rehearsal and rehearsal dinner flowed seamlessly thanks to Steph. On my wedding day, I was nervous and stressed and Stephanie helped me stay calm and my day went off as perfect as it could and I was a very relaxed and happy bride when I arrived at my reception. I know that I am a lot more detailed than the average person and all of my personal details and décor ideas were perfectly executed by Stephanie. My friends and family loved her as well. She was awesome!
