even though they are a large company with several locations don't be scared away. we rented our napkins and wine glasses from them and they beat the quote i had from bbj linens. don't be shy to ask they to cut deals. in culver city i'd suggest working with reggie. he was great.

the minute i saw her demo online i knew she was the videographer for me. she was so sweet on the day of my wedding but incredibly hard working. i know my video is going to be fabulous and cant wait to see it! highly reccomend!!!

if you are looking for a true photojournalist then you should check jennifer out. she showed me one shot she took during our getting ready time and i was blown away. i can not wait to see what other incredible images she captured. she also gave us a good discount for being an off season wedding. don't be shy to ask. she was inobtrusive but still all over the place. plus, jennifer is a very cool gal.

liz, the owner is wonderful to work with. i found the us angels dresses for my flowergirls here cheaper than anywhere else on the net, including ebay. they arrived promptly to each of their destinations. i also purchased an adorable ring pillow. she just redid their website. highly reccomended.

i needed just a hairstylist and kate was reccomended by e. marie of brides bliss. she was great. super prompt, very sweet and really talented. everyone was extremely happy with their hair. she also went above and beyond and after she was finished with the all the girls ran over to my husband's room to style his hair at no charge. very highly reccomended. she works out of the aya salon in santa monica.

joscha lighting was really wonderful. he and his crew were very professional. the ballroom was absolutely glowing. highly reccomended.

we did many tastings. we tried, cake divas, layers, leda's, rosebud but honestly i believe the cake collection while being the most inexpensive of the bunch was by FAR the most delicious. they also went out of their way to deliver on a sunday evening at exactly 7pm because the hotel was being so inflexable about taking delivery of the cake before then. i would highly reccomend them and ask for anna.

the banquet staff was difficult to work with and ridiculously inflexable. although my wedding was lovely, they made a huge faux pas that is absolutely unforgiveable. we specifically ordered that there be no shell fish or pork served at our event as many of my in-laws friends are kosher. we had two tastings, the second one directly with the executive chef. our request was adressed many times.

first, during our cocktail hour there was shrimp on the sushi display. then the biggie. we served a twice baked potato that we had tried at the final tasting. but this time they decided to add bacon bits to it. we were horrified, embarassed and all in the middle of our special day. luckily we pulled the rabbi's plate before he sat down. but there was just no excuse for this mega mistake. i realize things don't always go exactly as planned but this was beyond my wildest nightmare.

so glad to hear these great things about debbie at floral fields. i am using her for my wedding in 9 days. working with her has been a pleasure. she is so bubbly and creative. she just seems to understand my vision. i totally trust her and know it's going to look beautiful. she has definitely been my favorite vendor thus far.

We found renee after a terrible experience with our initial calligrapher. the calligraphy community in los angeles is very small and they ALL know each other and often refer each other. luckily, renee was everything we hoped for. only wish we went to her originally. she ended up only doing about 30 of our envelopes, but they were all perfect. her work is spectacular. she charged $2.50 per envelope and $10 to mix the ink. just a sidenote, renee does the calligraphy on the certificates that go out to academy award nominees.
