The best cupcakes ever!!! My fiance and I discovered this west Seattle bakery a couple years ago and decided we had to have them at our wedding. I can't express in words how excellent these cupcakes are! They are freshly made every day, never frozen! The prices are also the best that I have found! My personal favorite is the vanilla cupcake with pink frosting and coconut (I think they call it the pink bunny), my fiance is partial the the chocolate cake w/ chocolate frosting. They also have an excellent Red Velvet which is tough to find in the Northwest. :) Also on random evenings they have "Cupcake Happy Hour" where all the full size cupcakes are only a dollar!!! My fiance and I live in Auburn now and we make our way up there regularly just for those cupcakes, they are more than worth it!!! :)

So well planned and put together! There are options for every price range and ceremony/reception size. And of course tons of great samples! :) It was easily the best bridal show I've ever attending. I learned so much and and was able to tie up so many loose ends! :)

An excellent place to register! You get tons of discounts (there are so many coupons out there!!!) and they will accept returns whether or not it was on your registry. Their return policy in general is excellent! They also have an incredible selection of fine china and silver. You wont find it in most stores but they have EVERYTHING online! They have much much more to offer than just what you find in stores...So many options!

Excellent website for Seattle weddings!!! Not too much info so its not too overwhelming like many other websites. And there are tons of real local weddings which are fun and helpful! :) Definate check out the real weddings before you get your heart set on one thing. I know I thought I wanted certain things in my wedding and I had a look at some weddings that did just what I wanted and I realized it wasn't what I thought it would be. It certainly helps to learn from others experiences! :)

I was very disappointed in the service I received at Davids Bridal. It started out promising... I was a walk in without an appointment and they got me in right away (perhaps that should have been a sign). As soon as I sat down to look at the catalog I found something I liked and told the woman helping me... she responded with "oh no, you don't want that, thats too plain and boring... you want more glitter and sparkles!" before I could respond she ran off to do something. I sat there stunned and felt very insulted. I couldn't really figure out what I wanted from the catalog so we wondered around and she acted very disappointed and upset with the dresses I liked. She certainly wasn't trying to hide here true feelings. When I was trying dresses on she kept pushing more color. I said no I didn't want color. "oh you want a colored sash or a dress with a little more color... I'll get one, what color do you want?" I said no thank you and she kept pushing so I finally gave in. Then when I went to change in the dressing room with her help some little boy that was running around came and opened my door! The woman didn't do anything to stop him or prevent it from happening again, she just made some snide comment about how children shouldn't be brought along (my future sister inlaw and her son were there with me so that was a little insulting as well). Of course I got dressed right away said thank you and left. I was so disappointed and insulted by that place. Just make sure you get a professional if you decide to go. I'm sure I would have been fine with my experience had I not been embarrassed and insulted the one time I went. :)

La Belle Elaine's has the most genuine and helpful staff you will find! All they want is to make you happy and help find that perfect dress. Heidi was incredible! You could totally tell that she loved her job! Not once did I feel any sort of pressure to buy or do the "popular thing" which is exactly what I got at other stores. If I said I didn't like something we moved along and because of this incredible service I found the dress of my dreams!!! She was a definite professional and knew what she was doing. It was the only place that I truly felt like a bride... it was an incredible experience, I can't wait to go back to go back for my fittings!!! :)
