I had Cambridge Paper do my menus and my programs for my wedding. I went through the order process online and received my printed goods within a week. It was quite amazing as I had no idea that I needed menus and programs and ordered them quite late. The product was high quality and thermal embossed (another surprise) and received many compliments from my guests. Highest marks!

I was skeptical at first, but these folks were great! I formatted my placecard list in Word to meet their specifications and received my placecards a few days later. They are beautiful and professional and cost much less than most of the other places that I priced. I did the whole thing online with some very friendly people at the company. Highest marks!

I designed my Save-the-Dates in Photoshop and had VistaPrint do all the printing. They turned out amazing and were very inexpensive. I also had them print my customized Thank-yous from one of their templates. I have been very satisfied with all their work.

Beth helped me pick out the most amazing invitations for my wedding. She has lots of experience with formal wording and helped me decide what to say and how to say it. Only one small hitch - I forgot to add a "not attending" option to my RSVP and one of my food options ended up saying "child" instead of "child's plate". My fault for not double-checking everything, so make sure that you take her advice, but read everything out loud to yourself to make sure that it doesn't sound funny. :-)

Kurtis did a great job keeping our wedding moving without us having to remind him of anything. He got all the music that we asked for and played it all on cue. He was nice a creative with games to keep everyone entertained and he catered to our families' mixed ethnic backgrounds. Would definitely hire again.

These folks were great! They provided us with a horse-drawn carriage for our wedding. They were on time, provided champagne and time for me to practice getting in and out of the carriage before the ceremony. I managed to look amazing despite my giant, civil war-style metal boned hoopskirt and full-length mantilla veil. They made the grand entrance to my wedding the most worry-free part! Highest marks!

We had a good experience with this vendor... the only issue being that they make you order from a catalogue, you can't try anything on a head of time. They did manage to collect sizes from all the groomsmen, the bible boy and the ring bearer (despite the fact that they were scattered across 300 miles of California), order and have everything shipped to one store near our wedding venue. Most of the orders came out looking right the first time, too. Not bad... they make corrections really quickly if anything is wrong.

Patticakes was amazing!!! I wanted a cake to be the centerpiece of each table at my reception and they obliged in grand style! I picked three different types of cakes and they turned out five of each for my 15 tables with no trouble at all. They also did an amazing job with my wedding cake, including covering it with fresh roses that matched the ones that my florist used for the rest of the wedding. Great job! My family has been using Patticakes for individual cakes for at least 15 years, and we were skeptical at first... but they did amazingly. Highest marks!

We had our wedding at Calamigos on June 21st... it was fiendishly hot, but the experience was wonderful anyway. The property was beautifully cleaned and everything was set up exactly as we had planned it with the coordinator. The rehearsal went off without a hitch as well, although it would have been nice to go over the whole thing one more time. Either way, the actual ceremony went beautifully. All my vendors had someone to guide them in... at least everything got put were it was supposed to. I was hiding in the Little White House to avoid seeing my future husband. :-)

The only issue was that I needed to have someone looking out for tiny details... my silver and crystal initials for my cake never got put on it. A relative could have done it, but I had been told that I would have a day-of coordinator and she would take care of things like that. Apparently, she was too busy shepherding my wayward relatives and future relatives to their correct locations.

The reception at the Polo Room went off really well. The food was even better than the tasting and the service was timely and professional. They have since made the food choices and appetizer set-up easier to understand and work out, but we did fine as it was. The other really nice thing is that they have not only a vegetarian option, but a VEGAN plate as well! So cool for my vegan friends.

All in all, I'm very glad we chose Calamigos at the Equestrian Center. If you're getting married during the summer months, keep in mind that Burbank is boiling hot, even in the evening. :-)

My bridesmaids and I were very pleased with the results of our purchases at David's Bridal in Monrovia, CA. I had four bridesmaids of different sizes and shapes... I used the David's Bridal website to pick out the style and color of their dresses ahead of time. We went into the store and tried everything on a couple of times. Our order arrived properly and with more than enough time to make sure everything fit. I even bought a back-up outfit for myself in case I got tired of wearing my wedding dress (which was handmade and NOT from David's Bridal). The associates were friendly and very helpful. Highest marks!
