We used Overnightprints.com for our Thank You Cards. We designed our front and back, uploaded to their website, and made the order. There was no upload fee, which was nice. There was a deal going on, so for 250 postcards, we spent about $75 (includes tax and shipping). We also added glossy to our front, and they look beautiful and professional! Received them today, and I love them! You can also order them with corner cutting for $2 per 100 postcards - a really good deal. The only thing is we didn't receive them overnight. We used ground shipping (the cheapest), and it took about 1 week to receive them. I would use them again, but would recommend placing your order early!

There are actually a few Van's Bakery to go to - and in OC, this is the best one! We visited each one (individually owned) and found this particular store to provide the best service - Free tasting, friendly baker (David), and affordable pricing. We went to others and it just wasn't the same. Save your time, and just go to this one!
The cake they made us was beautiful! Loved it! (It was rather simple, though - 4 layer cake with white frosting and brown ribbon we provided). And it also tasted good (mocha and strawberry filling - alternating layers)! We had compliments on the cake and some even wanted more!
The only thing they couldn't do was the sugar flower decorations we wanted. We ended up calling our florist to provide and decorate the flowers for us.
David was a pleasure to work with - he was so sweet and easy! The kind of guy you just want to hug - so happy!
We usually go to the Van's in San Gabriel, but since our wedding was in OC, we had to find an OC Van's. Coincidentally, the Van's in San Gabriel is owned by David's sister - no wonder! =D

We were fortunate enough to have RayJoyce provide us with a free engagement session when they were promoting their services. They provided us with excellent pictures! I used a lot of them in our guest book photo album. I communicated with Joyce mostly, but they are both so sweet and kind! The pictures were beautiful and the CD they gave us was awesome! They also do videography, which I knew before we booked ours! I am so happy for them, and so happy to have our engagement pictures from them. They were a pleasure to work with, on time, affordable, great quality work, and as a now husband and wife team - they definitely work well together. With a husband and wife team, it definitely gives two sides of photography - getting "the shot" and getting "the story". I would definitely recommend them!

Michael was referred to us by a friend. He was very easy to work with and provided a lot of suggestions. Michael was also very affordable. He was also very accommodating.
I called him days before and asked him to provide flowers for our cake - he did, it was gorgeous, and he was easy to get a hold of.
On the day of the wedding, there were some unexpected hiccups. I had asked for the bouquets to be wrapped in crepe paper - but none of them were. My bouquet looked great, but the other flowers looked a bit wilted. The boutonnieres for the groomsmen and family were not what I expected. It was one large rose, instead of 3 small ones as we discussed. I felt that some of the items we discussed got lost over the months before the wedding. Its so important to have pictures of everything! But even though I did - things still looked different. =(
The ringbearer box looked very good, the flower girl baskets were okay, and the ribbon I gave him for the baskets were used for the corsages instead. I specifically asked for the handles to be ribbon, but they were not. The craftsmenship of the baskets were a little on the sloppy side, but if you don't pay too much attention, it works!
Also we were short on boutonnieres...which was very embarrassing. The corsages were gorgeous, though. If it was orchid, it looked nice. The roses were a bit wilted. We called to tell him about the missing boutonnieres - he disagreed that we were short, but still made us more, which was a relief.
The votives he said would be much like the ones in the example picture I showed him. They weren't really - and they were not the hanging ones I wanted - they were self made hanging, which gave a different look than I wanted.
Also, he stuck around during the ceremony and reception. I actually saw a picture of him during the cocktail hour fixing the centerpieces - which is fine, but he could have dressed more appropriately - he stuck out like a sore thumb. Another embarrassing moment.. I also saw a glimpse of him chillin in his van - I hope no one else saw, since it was a little tacky.
In all - we got what we paid for. His services was not expensive. He was timely and everything looked nice - it just wasn't perfect. He could have been more professional. He was too visible, I thought, and for weddings and big events, you want the vendors as least visible as possible - black attire and hidden (no offense).
The previous post about his inappropriate behavior is actually not the first time I heard about it. I know someone else who has used him and commented about his inappropriate behavior before, during, and after their wedding. Its definitely something to consider.

We ordered invitation paper and favor boxes online. The items came exactly as advertised and packaged very carefully. I love that paper source has a bulk order discount! They also have deals and specials - which comes in handy! Subscribe to their email list to be in the know!
We ordered invitation paper and envelopes from Envelopemall.com. It was a great deal and great quality. Our DIY invitations turned out great!
My husband ordered my engagement ring from Blue Nile - and I love it! We then ordered our wedding bands and used a promo code to save 20% off our order. The rings and engravings were perfect, and the price we paid was stellar! They have a great selection at different price points, too!

We had our ceremony and reception at Turnip Rose - and it was fabulous! The venue really is breath taking - I fell in love with it when I first saw it. The staff is also superb! They were all very professional, helpful, and friendly - nothing seemed out of the question. They tried to accommodate us as best they can. I worked with Lori, and Michelle during the day of. Lori was able to answer any and all of our questions leading up to the wedding - and dealt with all my changes and requests. She worked with our budget to provide us the most for what we could afford. Michelle was awesome! Only meeting her at the rehearsal and then the wedding day, I could tell you that she was top notch. She was on top of everything and attended to all our needs and concerns. We didn't have to worry about a thing - they really made us feel like super stars on our wedding day - and our guests gushed about the service, too. Turnip Rose took care of the day of coordination, setting up all the tables, guestbook, card box - everything - for us so we didn't have a thing to worry about (I had to keep telling my MOH that she didn't have to worry about it). =)
The only hiccup was that there was a miscommunication about the strawberries, and they thought it was omitted - but they came through in the end, and also provided passed chocolate bailey shots, which our guests loved!
I only wish that the wedding was longer - 4 hours really wasn't enough. =( I felt rushed to get through everything, but everything went very seamlessly. The ceremony and reception really looked like it cost way more than it did. I got so many compliments on everything! And its all due to the excellent service!

Susie was great to work with! I used her services for wedding day, trash the dress/trial, as well as boudoir. She is so sweet, gives ample suggestions and feedback, and was very affordable! We went through a few looks and trials - and she dealt with my fear of too much makeup - until I was happy. I booked her for myself as well as my mom and a few bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous and was very happy with her and her team's services! She was also very accommodating - I had a lot of hair/makeup service requests from family guests after they were done with the bridal party, and she was able to provide her services to as many as she could. =) I have a picky family when it comes to makeup - and they've never been happier with wedding makeup.
Thank you, Susie - you have a great team and provide great service!

Wow! Meeting and talking to Tim in person, over the phone, and in email prior to our wedding was great - he was very professional and easy to talk to. He listened to everything we wanted and stuck by everything we wanted for our wedding day. We were extremely happy with his services. Before we booked Tim, he gave us a list of referrals and all had only positive things to say about Tim. We would hire Tim again in a heartbeat! He not only provided music for our wedding, he also coordinated with us before and during, as well as with the reception staff to ensure a smooth event. He was very easy to work with and even gave us a CD of all the songs we requested to be played from the wedding! We love the CDs!! We hired musicians to play during our ceremony and cocktail hour, but since Tim arrived early, he played music during cocktail hour while the musicians re-setup. Time is awesome!!
