Cari Hollis was our photostation photographer during our wedding reception and did a fantastic job!

She captured our guests donning goofy hats, wigs, and props throughout the night and all the images came out looking super! I can't wait to send these out along with our Thank You cards!

My husband and his groomsmen bought their suits from the Bellflower Suit Outlet, located in Bellflower, CA.

It only took a few days for their suits to come in after being measured. The suits were good quality and the service was pretty good.

The only issue we had a challenge with was the Best Man's suit; our best man is about 6'6" and 300 pounds, so to say he is "Big and Tall" size is an understatement. they originally said they'd have a suit for him, but when it was crunch time, it was ill-fitting and our best man had to buy a suit elsewhere so he didnt have the matching vest and tie like the other guys.

Cost was pretty fair comparing to other suits in department stores and the guys ended up paying about $200 for their ensembles (no shoes since we bought them their shoes).

I'd buy from them again, although if you have a special size, I'd go in sooner so there is enough time to correct if the wrong size comes in.

We stayed at the AVIA hotel in long beach for the days leading up to my wedding and for a few days afterwards.

Very accomodating and service was super! the rooms are a bit on the small side - but i guess any room would be small with about 10 people in there getting ready for a wedding?? LOL!!!

Very clean, modern and chic -- the rooftop pool was awesome for our pre-ceremony pictures, as was the lounge area and patio.

We found great deals online and paid only $120 per night, while normal prices are in the $200 range (Rooms had to be pre-paid to get this special rate)

Worth...Every...Penny!!!!

Dean Henderson was superb! He kept the party going with his extensive music library and didnt miss a beat during introductions, speeches and even had a special song for us!

If i were planning my wedding all over again - I'd definitely hire Dean again many many many times over!

We didnt submit a playlist like most couples do, all I sent him were the first dance, father-daughter, bridal party intro songs, and Dean filled in the rest -- I didnt worry at all about song selection at all! Truly a professional and a great MC and Deejay!

I call him, and our photogs Kristi Klemens and Melissa McClure our "dream team" b/c honestly, they were a dream to work with!

Paul arrived EARLY and just shot shot shot! His approach is very low-key and half the time we couldnt even tell he had a camera in our faces! LOL!

Paul was very understanding when we had to postpone our wedding twice, and when our day finally had arrived, he really was very professional and such a delight to work with!

Cannot wait to see our final footage!

When i booked my primary photog Kristi Klemens, I immediately requested Melissa McClure to be our 2nd shooter to work with KLK on our wedding day!

What a great team they make indeed!

Melissa's fun approach and super friendly personality made the awkward moments (close ups hahaha) more comfortable and less tense

She also shot my cousin's wedding in San Diego and I cannot say enough about the hard work and diligence she embodies as she is shooting away!

Kristi was the first vendor we booked (in 2007) and when we had to push our wedding twice, she was super understanding and very pleasant to work through those changes! We had a short list of "finalists" and within the first 2 minutes of chatting with KLK, i knew we had found "our" photog!

Kristi, Paul and 2nd shooter Melissa McClure arrived at the hotel to take our pre-ceremony pics EARLY and without missing a beat, started snapping away! Kristi's amazing attention to detail keeps me in awe of her all the time - within 48 hours of our wedding day, i had 2 teasers already! I'm so so so excited to see the rest!

Kristi is very easy going and was such a delight to work with! She has many creative ideas and has always been bubbly and just plain awesome!

If you are in SoCal and need a photog - call Kristi or Melissa - you cant go wrong with either!

If i had another wedding to have, I'd most definitely hire this dream team again in a heartbeat!

This first half of my review is based on customer service in the planning stages, as i have not yet had my reception (3 more months! yay!)

Natalia is an absolute dream to work with - fast, responsive, accurate, and always has a smile on her face when talking to you!

Since i am planning from 300 miles away, I had not had a chance to visit, but based on the reviews, my MIL's recommendation and other ladies here on PW, i just went for it and booked, seeing as we are on a short time frame than most, with only 3 months left to go.

Needless to say, Natalia has been a God-send! I know i will not have to worry about food and bev or customer service come the day of our event!

After the reception has come and gone - I can't rave enough about the service at the Grand. From the receptionist to Natalia to the manager Besso, it has been a dream working with everyone at this venue! The appetizers and dinner were all yummy and the waitstaff was punctual and very professional! If I had my wedding to do over, I'd definitely choose the Grand again based on this experience with them!

i first contacted alicia in 2007 when we were planning on our 2008 wedding.

she was lightning quick with response time and was very helpful with giving me her honest reviews of venues we were considering.

when we had to cancel our 2008 wedding due to layoffs, she was very understanding and did not charge a "change date fee" at all.

alicia has extensive experience, not only with weddings, but large scale corporate events as well.

i'm forever grateful to alicia for "holding my hand" throughout my planning - she is my advisor, my confidante and at times, even my therapist!

We stayed at the Westin for the last half of our wedding week and hotel staff did not disappoint!

As usual, the food and drinks are overpriced - $7 for a diet pepsi - but what hotel isnt overpriced when it comes to the lobby restaurant and room service?

Staff is very helpful and very nice

Self parking is $14 per night / Valet is $20

Great location right off the 405 and shopping across the street

We would definitely stay here again!
