Ray was amazing! He was very understanding and accomodating both when we met him before the wedding and during the actual event. He came to the rehearsal at the church to get an idea of the layout and the best vantage points. He let our very large families snap pictures in-between his and was open to suggestions for shots outside the church. He took beautiful pictures and set up an online account so we and our families were able to view the digital pictures days after the wedding (we were still on our honeymoon!). His set cost is $1200, which can seem like a lot, but it was totally worth it. Our book is going to be wonderful, and we get to keep the 240 proofs (which I'm excited about as a scrapbooker). My husband and I would recommend Ray immediately to anyone getting married.

We got to taste about 10 pieces of their sample cakes. They were all delicious! We ended up picking a style that they have available in their book, but we could have brought in a design too. The three tiered mable cake with red roses was beautiful and everyone liked it.

The Park Plaza and their wedding coordinator, Christopher Westland, were amazing! What makes this reception site so different from the others in the area is that a lot of items are included. We didn't have to pay a room rental fee (usually $500), for the dance floor to be put down (usually $100), or for a bartender (usually $85 per bartender per hour). We also got use of the linens, candle hurricanes and centerpiece mirrors. As a bonus for booking rooms there, we got our wedding suite complimentary. Also, we were able to use a meeting room the next morning for the gift opening. The only thing we had to do was meet our $600 food and beverage minimum. Chris let us include our gift opening brunch in with that. We only had 125 people and still had no problem meeting the minimum. Also, our guests say the buffet meal was the best that they've ever had at a wedding. We were very pleased overall with the Park Plaza and would recommend it to anyone in the south metro who is on a budget but still wants an elegant reception.
