I found the Larry Newman Printing Company on the internet while surfing for program fans. I knew that I wanted program fans, but did not want to pay $4.00 per program. I ordered some samples from them and were very impressed. Their cardstock is thick and their printing is high quality and very reasonably priced. ($2.75 each for orders over 150) I decided to get pink printing on cream cardstock to keep with my theme and they turned out perfect! Service was excellent. They also provide thermography at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend them!!

Sheldon at Melons Catering is awesome!! He virtually served as my wedding coordinator/advisor. He was always available to answer my questions with regard to all aspects of the wedding, not just the food and reception. He always recommended very reputable vendors. He gave two tastings prior to my wedding since I initially sent my sister to survey food and then I went for the final tasting. He even met with me at Classic Party Rentals along with Paige from Passiflora to discuss our table top setting. Truly went above and beyond the call of a caterer. What really swayed me to go with Melons was the quality of the food. I come from a family of restaurant owners, and food is #1. My sister owns a restaurant and is really picky. When she returned raving about their food, I picked them without hesitation. And when I went for my tasting, I was totally impressed. Even my parents were both impressed with the presentation and taste of the food-- and they are hard to impress being restaurant owners themselves and also biased to Chinese food. On the day of the wedding, the food was excellent. Their hor de ouvres (we had six), including foie gras, steak tartare were amazing...the first course was quail and was really flavorful...the short ribs and swordfish were so...good...and we had them provide mini-bite sized desserts in addition to our wedding cake. If I were to ever have a catered event again, without hesitation, I would hire Melons. And, as sophierah stated, they are fully capable of running the reception end if you do not have a coordinator. Melons takes care of everything.

Awesome food and outstanding service. Highly recommended, totally worth it!!

Awesome selection and fast shipping! I bought my menu cards, placecards, map/direction cards (in colors Luxe Cream and Blush), and Kolo Engagement Photo album from Paper Source. All very reasonably priced and good paper weight.

Bradley takes some truly amazing photos! He made himself available at the very last minute that I called him when I was honeymooning in Cabo. He is very friendly and his rates are very affordable. Highly recommended!!

Got a Jim Hjelm dress from Netbride for at least one-third off of the price at retail stores. The dress arrived earlier than promised and in perfect condition. They had excellent correspondance via phone and e-mail.

On time and very professional. I booked them last minute after another limo company bailed on me during the week before my wedding.

Their performance was great! All the guests thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the out of town guests who had never seen a lion dance performance before. The dance lasts for about 20-30 minutes and it costs $500. At the end of the performance, I did indeed receive a marriage scroll.

Passiflora’s website is what really caught my eye initially. Paige's floral style and feminine touches really reeled me in. I spoke with and obtained a number of proposals from other florists, but did not know whether or not they could pull off my design elements without me being worried about whether or not it would come out to my liking.

Truthfully, at first I was not sure how much I connected with Paige. After meeting with her a couple of times, there was a turning point where her personality came out and she was very warm. She also met me and my caterer at Classic Party Rentals to discuss tabletops and brought a sample tall centerpiece. That was really nice.

My bouquet was beautiful. I loved the orchids, roses, and peonies!!!
These flowers were also used in all of my arrangements.

The only complaints that I had was that the bouts seemed a bit small and the corsages had both a wristlet and pins, but should have solely been pin on. However, I guess it was nice to have the option. Also, the pew flowers were supposed to be transferred to the reception and I believe they somehow did not get there.

The florals at my wedding were a hit!! The alternating tall and low cetnerpieces were beautiful. Each centerpiece had three smaller collections of florals surrounding it. Everyone raved about it. Paige also set up the lounge furniture which was so....…cute! Her other touches, such as the flower gift box and the monogrammed wreaths made it so very personal.

Guests also received a floral gift, being able to take home all the low centerpieces. It was great!!

I highly recommend Paige. She worked with me on pricing and gave me such wow-factor florals.

Treasure Island is one of my favorite spots in the City. On a clear day, the view from Treasure Island is absolutely breathtaking. During an evening reception at Casa de la Vista, you can enjoy the city view during the day and then the night skyline after sunset, truly a treat for everyone. The windows make the facility seem very open. One of the few downsides to this venue is that the bay can get quite windy and therefore our patio cocktail hour had to be moved inside. Also, there is no bridal changing room in Casa de la Vista, but I used the changing room at the Chapel for all my changing needs. It was not a problem at all. It is great that the Chapel is right next door so that the ceremony and reception can be held all in one place which is very convenient.

I would really give the Casa a 4.5* instead of 5* only because of the wind factor.

ALL my rentals with the exception of the dance floor and lighting was from Classic Party. My caterer dealt with the directly and everything went very smoothly. The chargers, chivaris, table top linens, glassware, flatware, and plates were all perfect. As a bride, it is very convenient to make a one-stop shop for all your needs. My only comment is that if my rental budget were larger, I may have considered Wild Flower Linens for my table top linens, but that would have added at least another $500 to my rental cost.
