DELICIOUS, my family and friends are still (3 months later) talking about how great the cake tasted (and it was beautiful too). It is seriously the best cake I have every had. I can't wait to order another one for my first anniversary.

For those of you with concerns about fondant - I ordered my wedding cake during a weekend trip to Sonoma and wasn't going to be back in town until the day before my wedding. When I got home my mom (who had been cake tasting with my sister who was also getting married)asked "Are you sure you want your cake to be covered in fondant?" Someone at one of the bakeries she and my sister visited told her that fondant "can ruin the taste of your cake." (I didn't know if this was true, since I did not taste the fondant). I called Patisserie Angelica right away. No problem; they said I could come taste the cake again (the day before my wedding - since this was the only time I had) this time with the fondant to be sure that I was happy. If I didn't like it, I could change it. The bakery my mom went to obviously did not use the same fondant as Patisserie Angelica. Patisserie Angelica's fondant tastes kinda like marshmellow and went well with our chocolate beet cake. I'm happy I picked Patisserie Angelica and their fondant.

Jerry was amazing! He took so many great pictures it was hard to pick my favorites! He was even great when I gave him a list (and some examples) of pictures I wanted to be sure to get. He made sure to take all the pictures on the list and did so beautifully.

Kristine was great. I was married on August 27, 2009, and Kristine did my hair & makeup. She did a wonderful job and the only touch up I needed was to my lipstick and powder. Kristine also did a wonderful job on my 8 year old daughter's hair and my maid of honor. Since I'm in So. Cal, we communicated mostly by email and it worked out perfect. Thanks Kristine!
