This is the jeweler in Salida, CO where we got my fiance's wedding band. He found a ring he loved, and the jeweler said he would size it (my fiance has really large hands). The jeweler also said that if the ring didn't size well, we wouldn't be obligated to purchase it even though he sized it for us. The ring looks perfect and fits perfect! I have purchased other things from this jeweler in the past, and have never been disappointed.

The SteamPlant Theater in Salida, Colorado is where we are having our wedding in September. As the name suggests, it is an old Steam Plant renovated into a theater and ballroom. We are having our ceremony out on the brick patio overlooking the river, and then having the reception both indoors and outdoors. The woman, Katja, who helped us set up the event was immensely helpful with suggestions and brochures of local vendors. She referred us to our caterer, who has turned out to be fantastic! This venue is incredibly affordable and in a fantastic location.

My fiance and I wanted to send out save the date cards for our wedding because our families are so far away. I searched websites for "save the date" cards, and all I could find were ridiculously expensive ($200+ for 250 cards). I, instead, began to search postcard sites,and found Vista Print. They are a website geared mostly for businesses, but worked great. This website is really easy to use, you can upload any picture you want (color is extra but black and white looks great) and write whatever text you like on both sides. I saved $160 dollars plus who knows how much in shipping using this website. They turned out AWESOME! And they have different shipping options depending on how quickly you need them.

David's Bridal (Colorado Springs on Academy) was great the first time I went to try on dresses. We didn't know we needed an appointment and drove 2 hours from where we live to try on dresses. The lady who handles appointments went out of her way to fit me in, and the second dress I tried on was PERFECT!! They were super helpful in finding the right bridesmaid dresses, and everything was much more affordable than I imagined. Their website has the wonderful feature "Dress Your Wedding" where you can put everything together to get an idea of what it will look like. I had dresses in mind when I went to the store, and this helped a lot.
