We wanted a tasteful looking "beachy" cake and that is exactly what we got. The cake and filling was so moist and fresh, and we ate cake all night long!!! Don't be fooled my the Publix website, they are willing to alter the designs shown on the website to meet your tastes, you simply have to go into the store and talk to them about what you do and don't like. They're prices could not be beat!

Amy Morgan and her husband Danny are musician/DJ "brokers" for Captiva & Sanibel Islands. They're business is finding musicians for your wedding so you don't have to do the work. Amy listened to what we were looking for and then gave us recommendations on local musicians. She handled contracts & scheduling with our musicians/dj and made my life super easy. Funny thing is that you would think it would be more expensive to use them then to do it on your own- it ABSOLUTELY was not! She gave us an amazing price on all the musicians and provided them with our music selections, etc!

Ceremony & Cocktail hour Musician: John McLane
John sang and played the nylon string guitar during our ceremony as well as played the steel drums during our cocktail hour. He was amazing and better in person than on his website. I walked down the aisle to "Somewhere over the Rainbow" by Izzy and his rendition of the song was so beautiful. It was exactly what I wanted. Cocktail hour was beyond believable, John really got the party started and kept the "island feel" from the ceremony going!

Reception DJ: Mark Simms
Mark had an extensive collection of music and followed my request for style of music that I asked for. Overall though I left feeling that he was like every other DJ. He was very good at what he did and I would definitely recommend him to others, but nothing specific stood out about his work for the evening. He kept the party rocking all night long!

Krista and her staff at Impressions are an absolute joy to work with and their photos are second to none! Her style is exactly what we were looking for and we loved her so much! Krista surprised us when she arrived at my villa the day of the wedding with a second photographer for free! But They took over 1600+ photos for us to view and I don't think there was one that I didn't like! Krista truly captured the spirit of our wedding and our love for each other. She was very professional during the entire day yet was fun; she was really able to capture who we are. We love, love, love Krista & Mike!!

We wanted to have orchid strands lining the aisle, fresh orchid blooms scattered on the aisle and an orchid lei for the ceremony. Due to the cost to import orchids, Libby's flowers was unable to provide them at a reasonable cost so I had to look for other resources. I spoke with the staff at Hawaiian Tropical Flowers over both email and the phone about my order because our 16 foot strands were considered a special order. Everyone was extremely easy to work with and understood exactly what I was looking for. Our order arrived on time was the orchids looked like they were just picked! I thought all of the strands were in the order, however the day of the wedding when the catering manager went to hang the orchids at the ceremony site, she realized the strand needed for our ceremony was not with the order. It never did arrive, however Emily was able to cut a portion of both the 16ft strands to make the strand needed for our ceremony. In fact, it wasn't till after the ceremony that I found out about the mishap- you couldn't even tell they had pieced it together!

Muffy Saunders, the owner of Libby's Flowers, was extremely easy to work with. She was able to provide me with the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages I dreamed of, with the flowers I wanted, and within the budget I was working with. We had no fear that she understood the vision we had. The day before the wedding, at Muffy's request, we stopped at her shop to see the flowers and make any changes that we wanted so that they were absolutely perfect the day of the wedding. The day of the wedding, Muffy arrived on time and with the flowers at their respective destinations and had followed through on any changes we had from the day prior. I absolutely loved the flowers! They were absolutely exquisite! The only reason why they are minus one star was because 2 of the wire pieces (Jr Groomsman boutonniere and the Mother of the Bride's wrist corsage) completely fell apart before the ceremony. I spent the last 10 minutes before my ceremony trying to rebuild them with pins and such so my mom and our Jr Groomsman had flowers to wear. I'm unsure as to whether it was the wire work that Muffy did or whether it was simply because orchids are fragile flowers. All in all though I would absolutely recommend Libby's Flowers to others! Other than my hydrangeas, which were wilted by the next morning, my bouquet lasted all week of our honeymoon!

Words truly cannot express our happiness with this vendor. South Seas and Emily Orsini went above and beyond over and over again. Emily's professionalism, enthusiasm and attention to detail was beyond our wildest dreams. Emily and South Seas provided us with 5 star service and made us feel as though our wedding was the most important event happening all week! Emily was not just a catering manager to us; she really became our wedding coordinator for the entire event. Any task or idea I threw her way she took hold of and ran with! Emily made the experience of planning a destination wedding so easy and stress free! The food was amazing and quality of service was outstanding!

We planned a Destination Wedding from Jersey, and we only invited 25 people, so we didn't want our invitations to be expensive or fancy. It was actually my husband who found the invitations at Michaels one day when he went to run an errand for his sister. They were beautiful, and he said that they were on sale! All we had to do was plug whatever we wanted to be printed, and sent it to our printer! No fuss, no problems!

My husband had no complaints with Men's Wearhouse. We needed a national chain to get the tuxes from as the guys were coming from all across the country. It was great that my husband was able to put in the specifics of the tuxes to order into their system and all the guys had to do was go in and get measured. All the tuxes were then sent to the nearest store to my Maid of Honor, who said that she picked them all up when they told her they would be in. None of the guys needed any additional help, so that was great! They looked really hot in their tuxes!

As most of my bridal party lives in West/South Florida, they all decided to visit the Ft. Myers store of David's Bridal. Overall, they said that their experience was average. Nothing outstanding, but nothing horrible happened. Nothing outstanding because the girls said that they weren't really given the special treatment, but that they were treated professionally. The dresses were beautiful, and they received them a week before they were told to expect them.

I hadn't stressed out at all during my wedding planning, and only stressed out about three months before our wedding. That was when by accident, my sister ruined my wedding gown! Where I bought the dress from couldn't help me out because they didn't have my size for the same gown, and it was too late to order another one. So I frantically called around to see who could help me out in any way, and The Perfect Dress did just that! They pulled every dress that they had in my size when I arrived. Since there was no time to order the gown, they said that they would sell me whatever they had off the rack at a great discount, and they did just that! I loved my dress from The Perfect Dress even more than my original dress! My grandmother and my MIL even purchased their dresses from there too, and they were more than happy with everything!
