I recently purchased a case of purple glass votive candle holders. The quality was horrible. The colored glazing applied to the glass was splotchy and streaky. They were absolutely not suitable to put out for a wedding or party. I returned them. I have placed other orders at Cudge.net and the quality has been great. I would recommend Cudge.net over Quick Candles based upon my experience.

Azteca is a must-see for anyone planning a wedding in Arizona, it is like the Super Wal-Mart of wedding stores. They have almost everything you need, at the very best prices. Their bridal salon has all the popular designers and almost all the samples available in the store to try on. In all the stores I have visited, I have NEVER seen a better selection of gowns. And... since they are such a large store, they get special discounts and incentives from the designers. I purchased my dress at Azteca for almost $200 less than the price at most other stores. Plus, they allow you to make payments on your dress until it is paid off, no credit required (min payment is $50 per month). We also used Azteca's Tuxedo store for all the men's attire. They have a HUGE selection of styles and colors, all available for the men to try on. Also, their staff is very helpful with taking measurements and helping you find the look you want. Plus, when the men went to pick up their tuxes, the staff had them try them on and all last minute alterations were made on-the-spot to ensure the very best fit. I just cannot say enough about the great service you will receive at Azteca. I must warn you though, they are always VERY BUSY and have somewhat odd business hours. If you go there, plan to spend the majority of your day there. If you are going to pick out a bridal gown or tuxedo's, you can and SHOULD make an appointment....then you will have a person assigned to assist you.

We hired Larry James of Celebrate Intimate Weddings to officiate our wedding ceremony in July 2008. We selected Larry as our officiant because he came highly recommended. He was very helpful and gave me several references to other vendors that I ended up hiring. After speaking with Larry, we really liked the options for customizing our ceremony. He was able to make suggestions that made our ceremony interesting, personal, and fun.

I hired Mark Sanchez of Professional Mobile Entertainment to provide my wedding ceremony music and our reception entertainment. Mark is very professional and focuses his business solely on wedding entertainment. Mark also has a menu of special & unique services, in addition to just playing music. The entire evening was put together just perfectly and all our guests had a great time dancing the night away. Mark really knows how to read a crowd, make them laugh, and keep them dancing. We were extremly happy with Mark's services and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ/Entertainment for a wedding.

I hired Heather to do Bridal makeup for my wedding. She also did makeup for my mother and my bridesmaids. Heather is a very talented make-up artist and we were all very pleased with the results. She does an airbrush foundation looks flawless. Her services also include fake eyelashes for anyone that wants them. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone needing a makeup artist for any occasion. She has a great personality, is very fun to have around, and will take as much time as you need to find that perfect look. I paid $150 for bridal makeup, $75 for the trial, and the mother's & bridesmaids paid $75.

My wedding ceremony and reception was held at this venue in July 2008. This is a beautiful resort and is ideal for a wedding with many out of town guests, as there are many gathering areas around the resort that your guests will enjoy. The ceremony area is beautiful and overlooks a small lagoon. The surrounding grounds are very lush and green, perfect for photo opportunities. Another thing I liked alot about this venue, was that the ceremony and reception areas are adjacent to each other. There is a nice patio area in-between the ceremony and reception areas that is perfect for the transition from ceremony, to cocktails, to the reception. The food and service was outstanding. Also, their wedding package includes wedding night accomocations for the bride and groom with champagne & strawberries, breakfast the morning after, complimentary champagne toast (for all guests) at the reception, personalized wedding cake, and complimentary valet parking for your guests. Their wedding coordinator is very helpful and considerate. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding in the Scottsdale area. Also, they offer significant discounts in the summer months.
