My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Palace at Somerset Park on 9/19/09 and we could not have been happier with the turn out. Laura was our sales person and Melanie was our event coordinator so I highly recommend working with these two. I was a very involved and detail oriented bride and Melanie was there for me every step of the way for two years and through over 400 e-mails from me! and they were always supportive and helpful and worked their hardest to accommodate the requests of my husband and me.

Our ceremony was beautiful on the terrace in September and everything ran smoothly which made me happy because I was seriously stressing someone walking down at the wrong moment or something silly like that. All my girls and the mothers had the entire day in the bridal suite to get ready and they kept making sure we had everything we needed. The reception was perfect! It looked perfect and everything there went smoothly as well, especially thanks to our maitre D Jason. Our cocktail hour was indoors as well as out on the terrace and I truly felt like a guest at my wedding. I didnt have to worry about anything or when to cut the cake or when the toasts were, they took care of everything.

I'm honestly really taken back by the random negative reviews of The Palace. I didn't think anything negative could be said about this place. I highly recommend The Palace!!

Booking Mandy to do the hair for myself, my 8 bridesmaids, and the mother's of the bride & groom was one of the best and easiest decisions I had to make for my wedding. With little direction from me, she created the most beautiful wedding day hairstyle for me, making me feel more beautiful and more like a bride than I had ever expected. She also created 8 different hairstyles for all of my bridesmaids just by looking at a picture they provided the day of the wedding.

And besides how beautiful I felt, my hair stayed up through the wedding, the plane ride, and the first day of the honeymoon :)
