There were few things extremely important to us at our wedding; one of them was photography. We wanted to choose someone, who can best capture our special day, so looking back each and every one of these pictures would trigger the most beautiful memories from our wedding day.
After a period of looking around, we narrowed down our search to two photographers; we chose Eric Powell. Eric had these key ingredients that we were looking for-sophistication, style, elegance and charisma. We not only fell in love with his photography, but with his persona as well.
During our initial meeting, Eric made us very comfortable. He walked us through all the details; gave us a very good feel about himself and his work. Throughout our meeting, we never felt forced into making our decision about hiring him. Now looking back, we can easily say that he was one of the few vendors we dealt with that cared more about being a part of our day than money. It meant a lot to us! He was very friendly and understanding in regards to our feelings and potential stress we might have felt. We knew right away that he was the one.
All through the preparation time, Eric helped us with choosing other vendors (he recommended Walter Pawluk-our videographer and another fabulous individual), made our beautiful guest book (a very special memory from our wedding), and most importantly kept us calm.
On our wedding day, we were excited and happy to have Eric and Alexa (Eric’s assistant). We had absolutely no worries. Eric called me the day before and reassured me that everything would be great and we would have a good time. And he was right; we had a great time! It was quite an experience and we enjoyed every minute of it! Eric made it fun and very enjoyable for all involved in the photo shoot. You would never feel unnatural posing for him; that’s why his pictures feel so real and captivating. Eric himself has a lot of charisma and passion, which are clearly seen in his photography. Eric does ART!
To all of you, who are planning a wedding, I can tell you one thing for sure: Hire good vendors, who you like working with and who will worry for you, and you are guaranteed to have fun on your wedding day! Eric is definitely one of them! He is not only an extraordinary photographer, but a good friend in the process! We want him to always be a part of the special moments in our lives.
