Danny C is a master! To us, having a great DJ was a must and Danny C was exactly what we wanted. We booked him without even meeting him after he performed at my best friend’s wedding. He had the crowd on the dance floor from the moment the reception began, and people did not sit down all night! Looking at the raw footage from our wedding video, there isn’t a moment when the dance floor isn’t packed. He also did the music for our ceremony at no additional cost. He only advertises by word of mouth, so you won’t find much on him if you Google his name. But, he was recently voted the #1 wedding entertainer in NJ by The Knot Magazine 2007, and it shows! I know several friends and brides who have used him and all agree that he was hands down their best wedding decision - he will not disappoint! He made our wedding so incredibly fun for us and our guests!

I had 2 other trials before finding Jillyan and immediately after my trial I knew she was perfect! She is a MAC makeup artist who travels to you the day of. She listened to all of my requests about how my makeup was done, and my makeup lasted all day long. Plus, her prices are very reasonable as compared to other makeup artists who travel to you, and she doesn’t have a minimum number of people.

Craig and Autumn are absolutely wonderful! From the moment we first met with them, we felt as though we had been life long friends. We were incredibly happy with our engagement photos in Central Park, and even more thrilled with our 3000+ photos that we received from our wedding. They made us feel so at ease in front of the camera, listened to all of my requests , and were truly just an absolute pleasure to spend our wedding day with. They were recently voted the Best Photographer in Central NJ by The Knot Magazine 2007, and it shows! We were given all of our pictures in high resolution DVD format without any markings, which has been wonderful for sharing photos with family and friends.

The Tides is an absolute gem! We couldn’t be happier with the outstanding service we received. Scott was our banquet manager, and he was great to work with – very enthusiastic, and prompt to respond to any questions I had. He was also very easy to negotiate with and made it possible for us to get all the "extras" we desired. Mike was our maitre d’ and he was equally fabulous- so responsive to everything we needed, very professional, and all around overly accommodating. The ceremony site is gorgeous in my opinion, and they did a lovely job setting up the chairs. The cocktail hour is amazing – there is SO much food! All of our guests were very impressed with the amount of food in general, as well as the high quality. I would HIGHLY recommend adding on the Viennese hour to any future brides. You will be shocked by the amount of desserts they provide and it is a very decadent way to end the evening. To top it all off, The Tides was also one of the most reasonably priced reception locations we looked at. Overall, I would have zero hesitations about recommending The Tides to anyone and if you have booked there you will not be disappointed!

Michelle was my hair dresser for my May 27,2007 wedding. I was highly impressed with her work and would have no doubts about recommending her to other brides. She is very creative and was able to capture the vision I had for my hair with no difficulty. She is able to take a picture of a hairstyle and masterfully re-create it. She is also highly efficient - she provided updos for 5 of my bridesmaids as well, and was right on schedule the entire morning. Perhaps most importantly, all 6 of our updos lasted impeccably. We all danced the night away and none of us had problems with the updos not holding up!
