This restaurant is now closed, and I know why. The rehearsal dinner was okay, although it took a long time to get our meals. However, every visit to the place since then has resulted in fatty steaks, incompetent waitresses, and increasingly high prices.

A fairly inexpensive cake but really we didn't ask for much: three tiers, different flavors, white buttercream frosting with decorative piping. We added the rose petals ourselves. I think it was adequate -- didn't blow me away, but it was pretty enough.

I got the most gorgeous dress for less than $500.00. I know that the cost of my veil (over a hundred), gloves, muff, and cape added to the total, but who cares? I don't understand why people pay top dollar for designer dresses when they have a full service bridal shop that does the alterations, bridesmaid's dresses, and accessories all under one roof. Really. It's a waste of money to go anywhere else.

This all-inclusive reception was small and intimate, but the staff was so well organized and the food was so excellent that it worked wonderfully. I didn't love the fact that they didn't save the wedding party any appetizers and that they took away our dinners before we had a chance to eat them, but they had decorated the hall, cut the cake, served the drinks and dinner, and did so smoothly, so my complaints are minimal. I'm not sure if they are still running their reception hall in this way, but it was great to pay one price and get the hall rental and the food together.

Jaclyn was so personal, professional, and persistent! She accompanied me and my maid of honor to my hairdresser's and parents' house, documenting all the bustle of preparation. At the wedding itself, she took the most exquisite, artistic photographs (I swear, they could win contests) and, never intrusive, managed to capture so much emotion! I have seen wedding portraits by other photographers and they so often are over-posed and artificial -- not so with these. Our wedding's atmosphere was truly captured by her camera. Thank you, Jaclyn!
