I got a whole batch of matching fake flowers off of Ebay! It came with the main set of blue roses (bundle) with 3 additional matching sets. Excellent deal and I talked to the vendor a little bit and she was willing to work with me. The flowers came from her location in Canada, and they were definitely a bargain and looked real! I still keep them around my house and definitely recommend fake flowers if they look good over real.

OK, so this isn't your normal Carribbean destination, but it sure was out of the ordinary and fun! Take a trip on a cruise line through the Panama Canal and stop in some ports such as Antigua, Guatamala, Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. 12-day cruise on Princess was a lot of fun, less expensive than most and something definitely fun to do and better than just sitting on a beach!

Excellent site in Charleston, SC - this is one of the historic homes that is HUGE and along the famous Battery in Charleston. Functions daily as a bed and breakfast, with wine/cheese in the afternoon and an excellent southern breakfast. Beautiful arena with an outside pool and old-fashioned architecture, perfect for a wedding. Can hold up to 50-100 guests for reception and place inside that is just as beautiful for the ceremony if it rains. Kristin, the contact there is excellent by email and phone and will help you with your vendors and needs. Highly recommended!

EXCELLENT job on my entire invitations. Look like they were custom-made and you can upload your own images, edit right online then view the proofs and approve. They print and send to you within 1-2 weeks and mine were very well done. I ordered Save the Date magnets, Response Cards and Envelopes, along with the invites/envelopes and they all matched.

Whispers on Wentworth is located in Charleston, SC but they did an excellent job with my huge thick Asian-style hair!! Hair stylist came into the salon on a Sunday when they are not usually open and she did my hair in a beautiful, curly updo. I didn't want my makeup done after all and she was OK with that, not all transaction-based. Kind and courteous, and she updated my messed-up french pedicure while my curls were setting! Excellent service especially after I had lost my cell phone that morning and was really grumpy.

Long story short, I bought a dress online and turned it was too tight in the wrong places and too big in others! Went to Anytime Alterations in Silver Spring, MD (off Georgia Avenue) and contacted the owner and seamstress, Maria Luz. She was excellent, called me back on off-hours and talked to me about my dress. Brought it in and she practically remade my dress for $500 - and did this 2 weeks before the wedding! Little more pricey for the RUSH job, but she altered, did the bustle, put cups in the top, redid the zipper, let out some seams a little bit to make it breathe, and it turned out excellent.

MAGNIFICENT CAKE! It was huge and I still have some leftover! Cake was excellent and Laney was very communicative and made my experience wonderful. For the price of the cake (not including small delivery charges) it was definitely worth it. I told her a 15-person cake, and I got a 30-person cake! Very wonderful, intricate details, solid colors and boy was it delicious. Located in Charleston, SC but they were still excellent.

Two female photographers who traveled from Atlanta, GA to Charleston, SC for my 4-hour wedding! Excellent communication skills and their photography was in the photojournalist style. I believe their rates have increased, as they did just graduate so it may no longer be the rate above. I paid $400 for their wedding services and $395 or so for the high-res dvd, but of course I think their rates have probably increased.

The only thing that I would recommend about Courtney and Zahra is that I felt as though they had a hard time adapting to my wedding environment. As the typical wedding has a father/daughter dance, garter toss and bouquet toss, we didn't have anything like that since mine was a VERY small and low-key wedding.

Other than that, they were very friendly, commmunicative, and excellent!

Mike Winship was excellent as my wedding coordinator. I was inevitably a bit scared since my wedding was really small and low-key (and a destination wedding) but he was always talking and corresponding with me. From email to phone call, Mike was in touch personally and always kept me in the loop. He cost $300 I believe for the entire wedding day and assisted before the wedding as well. Also, he told me last minute that he'd charge me $100 less (than I was planning on paying another officiant) to be my officiant for the wedding! Of course, I said yes, and this helped a ton since my wedding was small and the vows were simple.

Excellent wedding planner and officiant. Vows were pretty and simple and loved them. He was smiling the entire day even though it was hot and humid, and he was just great! Definitely would recommend him for local AND destination weddings!

I had no problems with this vendor and I did a destination wedding to the Charleston, SC area. They came, saw, set up and picked up on time - I ordered 45 chairs, 2 tall cocktail tables and 2 smaller tables. The vendor suggested linens to match the tables, and helped me pick which tables were the best for me venue. All in all, I had NO problems with this vendor. $200 total including tax and they email the invoices - and were very quick about this. Definitely would recommend them!
