For some reason I thought picking a make-up person for my wedding day would be easy--bring some pix of what I want, sit in a chair, relax, and come out looking great on the other side.

However, I had 3 disappointing make-up trials from other vendors--all of whom were rated well by other brides but for whatev reason weren't doing it for me. Overdone, underdone, didn't come out well in pictures, etc. My search started to become worrisome, plus trials are not free! With Elaine, thank goodness, I finally felt pleased with the end result.

Beyond that, everything else was easy...Elaine is patient, pleasant, on time, helpful. Makeup lasted all day, and I have pretty oily skin. She also has a collection of hair accessories which you can borrow from. Overall, very pleased.
