If you live near Johnson City, Tn and love fairytale looking wedding, then I really, really recommend this chapel!! You walk through two double doors to a beautiful coble stone isle. There are candles in every window and exposed beams overhead. It was absolutely beautiful! I got very lucky with this one because photography, floral, director and rehearsal were all included. Talk about your package deal!! Photography included 48 4x6 photos with album and any picture over 48 were only $3.00 each. I got over 48 and only spent and additonal $100 or so. Alot cheaper than anything else out there. Floral was enough for my mom and dad, my husband's mom and dad, my bouquet, his boutonniere, 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen flowers. There was a $250 deposit due 30 days in before the wedding. I met with their florist about 2 wks before my wedding and picked out my flowers. She had a great variety and asked me what I envisioned and was then able to meet my requests. She used roses, lilies, hydrangea, and other spring flowers that made my wedding beautiful!! I also got to keep the vases that my flowers were in. The flowers from the wedding were also used in the reception, which saved some money. We had the chapel for about 3 hours from start to finish of the wedding. It also had rooms for both the bride and the groom and the wedding party to change in. It was perfect!

I had out of town guests and had to have somewhere for them to stay, so I looked at different hotel prices. I was able to speak with a manager and have them block off a certain number of rooms under my name, that way all of my guests could be together. I made sure the price was reasonable and that they served breakfast. The staff was very helpful and very professional. I did not need to have any money down upfront, but told them that my guests would call and give then their own information, and that was fine. You can choose whatever amenities you want, but make sure they know what the event is and that they have your name right as to avoid any confusion at check in time.

They did an awesome job!! You will have to meet with the stylist at least a few days in advance to discuss your look for the wedding. I met with my stylist a few days before hand and we spent a couple of hours talking about what I wanted and then playing with hair styles to get there. On the day of my wedding she did my hair beautifully and then put on my veil. You should have this done before you do anything else since makeup and getting dressed do not take that long. She achieved the look I was going for effortlessly and was wonderful to talk to. I really, really recomend them if you do not have a personal stylist.

We did not have a professional caterer cater our reception, instead we opted to have a buffet style reception. We had about 10 trays of food ranging from fruit, veggies, sandwiches and cheese. I spoke with the Bakery a few times and asked their advice on how many trays we would need to feed all our guests and how many each tray would feed. Of course, the smaller the tray the fewer it feeds, and we the largest trays that would feed about 18-22 people each. The food was wonderful and very beautifully presented. I do not remember if they delivered since I wasn't there, but you can always call and ask. They were very helpful and very professional.

DJ Express was wonderful! They came and set up in time and had wonderful music and lights. They send you a check list to get an idea of what music you like and what you want played at your reception. They did very well when I wanted to change the song that my father and I danced to. I just called them up and gave them my suggestion, and they changed it with no problem! They were very good! Not expensive at all. The deposit was only $50 and they played for 3 hours, and only $100 more per hour if you needed more than 3 hours of music. They gave a microphone to my dad and the best man for their speech and asked me before each event if we were ready to proceed.

I chose to do the invitations myself. I was on a small budget and could not afford to have them done professionally. All you need to do is find a design you like and work with the words. The longest part was trying to get the wording and the invitation to match up. You need to have a good printer and computer to get the best results. I think we bought over 100 invitaions for less than $100. We incorporated some scripture and the other necessary info as well. The results were great and it made it more personal, plus saved us a few thousand dollars.

This is a great place to go to find dresses at half the price. The selction and sizes is somewhat limited, but if you find a dress that you like, then they can always alter it. There is not as much personal attention as other stores, but once you have found your selection, then the attendents will help you in finding veils and other things you would need. I found my dress there for only $300. It was a strapless dress with a long train and a full, beautiful skirt. It had beading on the top and at the bottom of the skirt on the train. It was beautiful and fit me perfectly the first time I tried it on. A good idea, and what I did, is to go to other dress shops, even if they are expensive, find a dress you like, and then go to a more affordable shop to see if you can find almost the same one. The dress I found at David's Bridal was beautiful, but expensive, and did not have a train. The dress I found at National Bridal Mart was almost the same dress, but less expensive and it had a beautiful long train, which the dress at David's Bridal did not. So see, expensive is not always better.

David's Bridal was very helpful in helping me figure out what kind of dress I wanted. They were, however, expensive. With the dress, veil and undergarments, it woulda cost at least $700. They did have a large seletion of dresses in just about every size though. If you don't have to worry about budget, then they are definately the place to go.

They did a fabulous job!! My cake was just what I orderend and they even delivered it and set it up for me. It tasted wonderful and looked beautiful. They even brought a cake toper incase I didn't have one. A very, very good job!
