I picked out a gown at a store in Bend, Oregon, but refused to pay that much for a dress. Found my dress for sale in the right size on Craigs List. The bride wore it in Sept and wanted someone else to enjoy it. Since then, my dress was worn by another bride (a friend who had a wedding dress disaster the day before the wedding). My dress has been worn for 3 lovely weddings by 3 very different women!

Fun venue with huge room for ~ 40 people for seated dinner. Log cabin style décor. The chef double-booked for our dinner and called the morning of the rehearsal to ask if we’d move to another room. We declined, and asked for our original room. We got the room and the other party (which was larger) took over the entire restaurant side (they closed the restaurant for the evening). It was a good fix for a problem that could have easily been avoided. Food was satisfactory…overcooked salmon, but our guests from the southwest still enjoyed Northwest seafood.

We purchased suits here for the groom and the father of the bride. Great suits at a great sale price!!

It’s owned by a friend and is a small, family-owned jewelry store that specializes in estate jewelry, re-setting old jewelry and special requests. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but we are both very happy with our rings and it was comforting to known our jewelry was made by a friend (and a “recycled” diamond from an estate sale). My wedding day jewelry was from Nordstrom.
Stayed at off-the-beaten path places, including a lovely, solar-powered town called Cabo Pulmo (east side of the Los Cabos peninsula). End of a dirt road, 3 restaurants…very low key. We rented a house & it was a lovely way to spend our honeymoon.

Awesome, but completely planned by friends. We stayed at a condo complex & skied/snowboarded all day & played cards at the condo at night. An adventurous group, not a “night on the town” kind of group.

I think I had fairly simple alterations (just length), so for that purpose, Kim (the owner) was fantastic. She’s very, very affordable and a hilarious person. I have a friend who got more complicated alterations from her & wasn’t as happy as I was. We didn't have bridesmaid dresses in our wedding.

We had a wonderful experience working with folks at the SurfSand Resort in Cannon Beach. Terri, the catering manager, was so helpful & responsive, especially considering we were in Seattle. We didn't have to worry about anything once the big day arrived.
They completely surpassed my expectations. They were very warm and comfortable to be around on our wedding day--neither of us were really into doing posed pictures, but they made us feel like we could just be ourselves for the 45 minutes we took pictures together before the ceremony. They really captured the sillyness of our personalities...and the absolute beauty of the beach we got married on. They did a lot of fantastic beach shots & artistic touches to the photos that reminded us of the wonderful weather we had that day.Equally important to the amazing photos they took...all of our guests commented on what "nice" people they were and they weren't intrusive. Quite the contrary...most of our guests wanted to hang out with them! Everyone noticed that they were very professional and kind.
We finally ordered some of our photos & we love them. We still can't believe "that was our wedding!" We had wonderful day and Ryan and Joelle really captured each moment of the day on film. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful "gift" from FS weddings.
