Catherine Hairabedian was a terrific Catering Manager to work with. She was very responsive to all our emails, friendly, professional and accommodated us on weekends and after hours for onsite visits and our food tasting. Rain was in the forecast on our wedding day, but Catherine went above and beyond to work out a Plan B for our cocktail hour, which was scheduled to be outdoors. She even surprised us in our huge, luxurious bridal suite on our wedding night with a bottle of wine, chocolate covered strawberries, and a nice note. A special touch that didn’t go unnoticed.

The Sheraton Hotel in Universal City is classy and the panoramic view from the Starview Ballroom is breathtaking. Our guests were impressed by the twinkling stars and crystal balls hanging from the ceiling. Setup was executed on point and exactly to my requirements, thanks to Catherine. We had a 3 course meal and chocolate fountain catered by the hotel. My husband and I were quite delighted that the flavors and temperature exceeded our experience from our initial food tasting. Guests are still raving about the Tomato Bisque Soup!

We could not have imagined having our wedding reception anywhere else. It was the perfect location to host our wedding day. From the Catering Manager, to the Banquet Captain, to the servers, and bellman, our experience was nothing but positive.

Vanilla Bakeshop did a spectacular job on our wedding cupcake tower. Kim was very friendly and accommodating during our cupcake tasting and was extremely responsive throughout the planning process. The tower was setup in a timely manner on the day-of. The cupcakes were delicious, and many of our guests complimented us on how beautiful and customized it looked. Our cake topper even matched the fabric we provided for the tower panels. The setup and delivery fee was non-negotiable, but they were flexible in allowing us to return the tower 2 days later.

ULC Limos arrived right on time to transport the bridal party to the church, despite the rain and traffic conditions. We even received a text message stating that they were outside of the hotel, ready for pickup. The drivers were very friendly and accommodating. Overall the limos were clean, but one of the two had a distinct odor. :( The booking process was easy over the phone, and I even got a small discount for booking 2 limos.

Nora helped me find my perfect dress. After trying on several styles that didn’t seem to work, Nora came back to the fitting room with a dress in hand and assured me she found the one…and she was right. I didn’t feel any pressure to buy since it was my very first time dress shopping. I was honest and said I wanted to look around first and Nora was very understanding. I tried on another half a dozen dresses and ended up going back to MaryLinns the very same day. Manya, the salon manager was always friendly. Susie tailored and pressed my dress to perfection. In retrospect, I think I could have found the same dress at a lower cost elsewhere (it was a classic style from a few years ago), but in the end, choosing MaryLinns gave me a peace of mind and quality experience. Overall, I was happy to be a MaryLinns customer.

Jason Sulkin played solo contemporary and jazz songs during our cocktail hour. Our guests were so impressed with his guitar skills. It definitely added a special ambience to the room. We highly recommend Jason…such a wonderful and talented guitarist!

Kerim was an absolute treasure to work with. He put my vision to life at the church and the reception venue. From the flowers, to the lighting, to the linens, My Wedding Blooms is a one stop shop for your wedding needs. Kerim was able to provide magnificent centerpieces that blew away our guests. My bridal bouquet is still in-tact, and the wedding was 9 days ago! This shows Kerim only uses the freshest flowers in his arrangements. He was very conscious of our budget, but one would never know because the outcome was so spectacular. Friendly, courteous and professional. That is My Wedding Blooms.

Marcela did an excellent job on our wedding invitations. We received a lot of compliments from our guests on how elegant they looked. She was friendly and very professional. We were impressed at how quickly our invitations were delivered. For the budget-minded looking for classy invitations, we highly recommend Simply Stated Stationery.

Chiali Meng’s talent is beyond words. Her amazing portfolio of Before and After’s demonstrates her abilities with hair and makeup. It was a pleasure to have Chiali as my stylist on my wedding day. She was prompt and as detailed as she was during the trial. She has a keen sense on which features to accentuate and can execute any hairstyle you have in mind. She is very sweet and friendly, and I recommend Chiali to any bride looking for a soft, natural look on the big day.

Laurel is everything you could ask for in a coordinator. She was always on time and responsive from the first day we met up until the very last minute of our wedding reception. Her professionalism and friendliness put my mind at ease. I knew I could count on her to execute every detail to perfection. She treated my wedding as her own, with care and constant attention.
