I was surprised by how good an experience I had at the WalMart nail salon. The employees did a really good job and they were very friendly and talkative.

Being able to make our own invitations was really nice. We were able to print our own design on the background to give them our personal touch.

River City was able to work with our budget and still provide a great meal. The two pasta dishes were amazing.

The Foundry Arts Center is a non-profit organization in St. Charles, Mo. They have art sudios upstairs and a ballroom and galleries downstairs. It is a beautiful place with plenty of room, a stage, and a kitchen for the caterers.

As always, Applebees has great food and reasonable prices. We all had a good time. The waitress was really friendly.

The Shaw Nature reserve made the wedding perfect. It is so beautiful. We wanted an outdoor wedding that was simple, with nature all around us and when we visited Shaw, we knew this was the perfect place. It was nothing but the chairs, us, and nature. We were married by a beautiful lake under a small canopy of trees. They even had a historic house just down the trail/road where me and my bridesmaids could wait.

Savvi was very nice and they gave us some good discounts. They also didn't scoff at us for not buying the whole suit. They understood that an outdoor wedding doesn't need jackets, and didn't push us. The sales people were really nice too. They worked with us and our past-the-last-minute groomsmen. I still can't believe everyone was dressed for the wedding.

My fiance and I went to a St. Louis best bridal show, and almost everything was too expensive and vendors were pushy. I would not recommend this show to anyone who isn't working with an upper class income. Why can't they have shows for us lower middle class people?

I was very happy with the sales person and the selection of dresses. She let me peruse the dresses first and pick out ones I liked. As I was trying them on, she occasionally pulled another dress that matched my tastes. She was not pushy, and didn't get annoyed with my mother when we came in later for her dress.

We found 10th street when a friend suggested it. It's a small bakery in Belleville, IL. At first, we thought it was a little expensive, but the final result was worth it. After touring the 'show room', we came back with a personal design of our own. It was very unconventional and other bakeries had already told us they couldn't do it. The owner of tenth street talked it over with us and accepted the design. It turned out amazing! The cake was three layers designed to look like a large grassy hill with a river flowing down and around it. We had a castle on the top of the hill and a carriage at the bottom. I have never seen a better cake, and our guests loved it too.
