I love the food at Chaya so it was not a hard decision to have our rehearsal dinner there. We had about 30 people (brial party and mostly family memebers). The service was impeccable and everyone had a good time. Towards the end of planning, I was out of town a lot and my coordinator tied up many last end details. I am extremely happy and would suggest this venue to anyone looking for a place for small gatherings.

Peninsula is a beautiful hotel, great service (day of) and great food. I travel a lot and wanted an elegant wedding that didn't require any extra work on my part to make it beautiful...I only wanted to focus my attention on 'personalizing' the wedding and Peninsula was perfect. I didn't give it 5 stars because in the beginning, it was hard to reach onsite coordinator and a lot of my requests were denied. In the end, my own coordinator Echo (pinkbyecho) worked everything out for me. I was happy with the result and would not have done anything differently.

At no time did I feel pressure to buy or have my alterations done at Saks. I thought the consultants were wonderful and sweet. They were very helpful and on a couple of occasions where I called in to make reservations for a trunk show that was 'sold out,' they squeezed me in (since they knew I travelled a lot). My dress was beautiful and I am extremely happy with Saks service.

Like everyone said...Joyce not only does amazing work, she is the sweetest and most calm person! I'm so glad she was there in the moring to do my makeup. I booked her a little late but she was very accomadating and worked out something with the other bride where she could do both our makeup and hair on our wedding. I also went to her for my engagement and studio pictures. I am so happy with the way I looked. I never felt more beautiful. I will for sure use her services for other events too.

I want to add I LOVE their raspberry cake!! It taste a little like pound cake except it's not sweet and crumbles. Very yummy! I think for a while I purchased it for everyone's birthday. I stopped for a while now..I think it's time to go back!

I just signed my contract with her! I spoke with several brides that have used her and I'm excited she will be doing my wedding in October!

**UPDATE**
My wedding was end of October and Echo was amazing. She came early in the morning to decorate my ceremony/reception site and stayed late past 12 to make sure everything went the way it was suppose to. She went above and beyond what she was contracted for. Even though I only hired her for month of, she was constant support throughout the year I was planning. I can't put in words how grateful I am she was there to help and support me. Many guests came up to me to tell me how sweet and helpful my coordinator was...and how she worked so hard to make sure everything goes according to plan. Like Wwth all weddings, there were some snafus at mine and Echo was there to take care of it all. I can't thank her enough and will recommend her to anyone in a heart beat.
