I bought all of our vases for the centerpieces from Michaels. They had the best prices, and I even got some packing material from the store so that everything would arrive in one piece. It looked great with the fresh flowers I bought.

We got our cake topper from the Pacific Rim Wedding Store. It's a cute Hawaiian looking couple kissing. Very cute!

I bought the palm tree candles from Oriental Trading ($4.95/dozen!), printed the tags, bought tiny starfish (also from Oriental Trading), and tied it with Wraphia. It was a big hit with our guests.

My husband wore a blue island print shirt from Tommy Bahama in white
and a pair of linen pants. The shirt was silk and my husband loves it.

I got my shoes from the Kenneth Cole Reaction line. They are silver beaded flip flops. Really good for the beach!

My new J. Crew dress is here!!!.. I LOVE it! It fits great, is comfortable, and will not need altering! It has a built in support system too. The linen did wrinkle a bit but I think it is better because of the beading. I just need to wear my girdle that day!

I purchased the flowers for my hair and the lei for my MIL at Emma's Flowers. Reasonable prices and a good selection.

This resort was perfect. We had a room on the first floor and had an outdoor shower. This hotel caters to anything you could want. It is absolutely beautiful. We didn't want to leave. If you do stay, make sure to get a breakfast package, it is well worth it. If you are there on a Saturday, eat at the stars, surf, and sand buffet (but be warned it is $75/pp).

After suggestions from a few girls on the knot, I tried to book an appointment with Shalom. Well, she was booked so I made an appointment with Heidi. She did my hair and make-up, all within an hour and a half. She did a great job. I didn't show her any pic ideas, just told her what was on my mind. She nailed it! She did a great job.

Helen and Danny of Kona Weddings were wonderful. They were very easy to get a hold of and work with. When we decided to book with them, they sent a map of possible locations, a few brochures about what to do in the area, and info regarding the marriage license. They booked our marriage license appointment for us and gave us an opportunity to change the location we selected if we didn't like the first spot. We met on the day of, just before the ceremony, and explained what we would be doing. The ceremony was very well organized with Danny as the minister. Helen was taking all of the pictures. She did a great job and asked if there were any paticular shots we wanted to get. Our ceremony was on Tuesday at sunset. We met with Helen on Friday afternoon and she had all of our pictures ready, including enlargements, a slide show, and all the prints. Also included was a printed version of our vows (which was good because it was hard to listen to all of them during the ceremony). I would highly recommend Kona Weddings.
