AKA Contra Costa Wholesale Flower Company. This vendor is the only one I'd probably not really recommend for bridal flowers. I've used them before for all other floral stuff and was quite happy with the result so I didn't think I had to worry.

I really loved the bm bouquets, the wrist corsages & bouts, but she didn't do to good on my bouquet. i wish she would have used more of the beads that i provided and stuck to my original request of 5 large calla lilies & i got 7-8 mini callas instead...so i was a bit disappointed in that.

I had emailed her a pic of a bouquet of how I wanted the large callas to be arranged, but the pic was of mini's...so maybe she got confused and used the minis.

I've ordered from them before, traditional bday/shower/etc cakes. My one fear was that their wedding cakes wouldn't stand up to their regular cake's goodness/consistency/taste/etc. I should never have feared!

As other brides have said...you take one bite and off you go...so I need to go order another one for just J and i to really enjoy. But that one bite was heaven.

We ordered white cake with strawberry mousse. It was perfect! Moist. Not too thick yet thick enough to taste but melted in your mouth. Went really good with coffee and tea and wasn't sickening sweet. Everyone had seconds and thirds from what i heard. My stepdad had leftovers for breakfast for the whole week and still wanted more.

Denise did a great job of replicating the swirls of my cake topper on the side of the cake.

Yes her pricing is a bit on the high side for buttercream, but her artwork is so worth it. the buttercream was soooo smooth it looked almost like fondant, her edges to the cake was clean to spatula looking swipes and the details she can do with icing is endless!

Michelle did everything that i hired her to do. Which was basically dump all my diy stuff on her w/ a "how to" list and told her to improvise if something didn't work out right. If she did improvise, I didn't noticed cuz it was probably what i would have done anyways to make something work. When I got to the hotel, she was finishing up on the tables and had it set just the way it should be. She had even asked the wait staff to bring j and i something to munch on before we were introduced. My aunt (who's daughter got married the week before) was so impressed with Michelle that she said she's sorry she didn't know about her when planning her daughter's wedding cuz my aunt was so jealous that my mom and i could just sit back, relax and enjoy our guests without having to worry about timelines, what to do, how to do it. Michelle worked with Russ/DJ to make sure things were going smoothly. Before she left, she checked in to make sure we were ok. she even took it upon herself to put the birdcage that had all the cards in a safe location so that it wasn't just sitting around to be messed with. I had a crazy day before and completely forgot to bring 2 boxes of stuff to the hotel. I called Michelle the night before asking her to swing by the house and if she can take the stuff to the hotel and she did it with no problems, even telling me the time that she'll be by to pick up the stuff. The few days before, she had emailed all my vendors the timeline so they know what's going to happen.

The food was yummy and everyone ate every bit off their plate and wanted seconds. Gerard is great to work with...he's so laid back and mellow that nothing really gets to him. The bartender we had for the night (Nancy) was the bomb...no weak drinks, kept those who had too much in line and did not bend on our rule of "no liquor after 9pm" even when the "supper happy" guests dragged both fi...oops, hubby and i to try and open up the bar again.

Some guests from SF said they couldn't believe that something so quaint could still be found in these parts.Everyone loved the fact that they were not stuck inside some banquet room during a perfect summer night and that we had access all night to both the garden and the banquet room.

Sherrie and her assistant Suzette arrived on time and started working non-stop through lunch to get both moms, my sis and me ready. She's worth every penny! My mom who's so super critical of her hair & makeup was very happy on how it turned out. My sis who just had a baby 3 weeks ago looked like she's been sleeping through the night! I changed the top part of my hair a bit since the trial was still a bit too flat against my head and yet again, with just a pic of the style i wanted Sherrie was able to get it and still keep the classical clean look i wanted. when j saw me walking down the aisle he said he wanted to cry cuz i was looking so freakin beautiful and that the makeup just emphasized instead of making me look not me.

Russ was great to work with. I loved how he held my date while I looked at other dj's without having to put a deposit. When we first met with him, fi hired him on the spot on account of "not having that cheezy dj vibe".

I actually gave him only 5 do not play "categories" like boy bands, etc. and told him to just go with the flow of what people responded to. I figured that's what I hired him to do, so do it....and he did!

I received several comments from the older generation saying they really loved how Russ played all generations and didn't make anyone feel left out...something the oldies cringe when attending a younger wedding is having to sit and listen to music that they don't get or like. I had people on the dance floor even as Russ was breaking down his equipment...he kept it going to the very end!
