For our favors we bought the mini-chocolate bar wrappers from here. We wrapped them around various miniature hershey's candy bars. The best part was no one knoew if they were eating a crunh bar or a mr. goodbar etc. Anyway definitely check out their site. They have tons of ideas for favors, cute little boxes and labels, wrappers and tags.

This was a great way to go and get ideas for your wedding. it kind of got me in the mood for planning too, the same way a christmas tree at the mall gets you in the holiday spirit.(I'm jewish but still love a good Christmas tree.) Anyway I would definitely go with your mom or BFFs, unless your fiance is going to be really involved in the planning.

It was so nice to be able to go into a store with my fiance and look at books and taouch the papers and stuff. Everyone seems to order their invitations online now. I just really enjoyed that the owners were so knowlegeable. They knew what paper I should order that didn't cost alot but looked like it was expensive. They helped to recomend modern looking fonts to stick with our art deco type theme.
I'd definitely recommend them. They amde my make-up look great. I looked wonderful but didn't feel like I was too made up.

Bridal and Formal had so many gowns to choose from. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for by looking at the magazine pages I had brought with me. Of course I picked out a designer gown in the magazine that I could not afford. They ended ip helpoing me find an almost exact replica of the dress I found. They are also helpful in getting you in and out of dresses. That is nice because I kind of got stuck in a dress at another boutique.
Absolute Travel planned every aspect of our honeymoon. We went to Africa but they can set up accomodations and travel arrangements for just about anywhere. They really mean it when they call themselves a luxury travel arranger. Our hotel was the most luxurious I have ver stayed in. I wouldn't have know where to even start to book things in Afrca for msyelf. I would highly reccoment their services.
Sweetwater Bakehouse is THE bakery to use for your wedding cake. Their website is http://www.sweetwaterbakehouse.com/. They make amazing cakes like the ones you see on the Food Network. We opted for fondant which was more expensive then the buttercream. I just kind of think the buttercream look isn't the in thing right now. Our cake looked great the whole time. It tasted good too!

I loved our reception site. We had it in the Hall of Mirrors at the Hilton in Cincinnati. There is a balcony and the view from up there is gorgeous. This hotel is art deco and is on the historical registry. You can have your ceremony here too.

This temple is Wise Temple now but it was Plum Street Temple before. The temple is absolutely gorgeous in the historical way a temple should be. I think its the most beautiful in Cincinnati. The coordinator was very helpful.

The pictures from my wedding turned out beautifully. They made sure that we got all of the shots that we really wanted. They also did a good job of getting some candids for us. I would highly reccomend them.
