Premiere Productions Inc. billed me out of $5,000. I signed up for one of their 12-week training programs for Event and Wedding Planning. They offer a few packages ranging in price from several hundred dollars to over $10,000. At the time I signed up they told me that I would have the opportunity to make a lot of money while I was paying and going through training. They also promised placement into a full time position as an Event or Wedding Planner. Do not buy the "Earn While You Learn" mumbo jumbo that they will try to sell you on. I made absolutely zero dollars during the training. Actually, I ended up having to shell out more money during the course of the training program for all sorts of hidden fees that they don't bother disclosing upfront.
For the amount of money I paid I was extremely disappointed in the quality of instruction that they offered. It was almost exclusively on-line with no personal interaction with any legitimate Event or Wedding Planners. They promise to give you leads to book new brides or clients to work with, but most of the leads they gave me were cold, most with disconnected phone numbers. I honestly didn't learn anything from the training program except for the fact that this company is crooked.
Premiere Productions Inc. isn't in business to plan events or weddings. It's a front for their illegitimate training business. I doubt they have much experience planning events and weddings. I even expressed my disappointment and concerns to the Executive Director of the program, Maria Cook, but she was was completely defensive and evasive. She's very dodgy. I asked her to send me some references of actual clients and brides that they have successfully planned events and weddings for in the 12 months, she couldn't do it because there were none.
There's no doubt that this company is a total scam with crooked business practices. I am glad to see that others are onto their scam. Anyone that may be considering their paid training program or hiring them to plan their next event or wedding should think twice about it.
