It turned out well, but was not easy to get what I wanted there. I asked if it was possible to have a selection to choose from for house wines, for example, they said "Sure" and set up a wine tasting for me. This WT consisted of exactly 1 red house wine and one white...some tasting! This is a new CP, so maybe they are still working out the kinks, and everything turned out ok, but it was stressful dealing with them.
Got my hair done here. They did a fairly good job getting the look I wanted from the pictures I brought in. They allowed my MOH to have food and beverages for the bridal party, which was appreciated.

We had great food and fantastic service from The Grove. They even printed special menus for our guests that were personalized with our names and the menu we had chosen. The appetizers were delish and the entrees superb. Only negative is that there is no private party room, but by using one section of the restaurant, we had a lot of space for ourselves. I had never eaten dinner here, just lunch, and the food was even better than I could have hoped for. This place deserves your business and will earn it tenfold.

We went on this cruise on a Saturday night, so the prices were higher than they are other times. The good thing was that the riverfront looked great with all the renovations lately, and even better because we caught it at sunset! The tacos and the margaritss are included in this price. The taco bar was pretty good, but the lines got pretty long. The margaritss are lime and over ice, and the stickest sweetest ones you've ever had. No one, even a hard core drinker, could possibly polish off more than 3 of em without throwing up. They were the worst part of the cruise and I LOVE margaritas! I'd go again if they had BLENDED margaritas with salt on the rim...this is doable even in the high volume enviroment were they to purchase some margarita machines (like slushy machines). I also might go on another one of the edelweis' cruises just because the scenery was gorgeous and it was a really fun time, margarits's excluded!
Live comedy that is ever changing...how fun is that! Call ahead and make arrangements and you too can have your bachelor or ette embarassed right on stage! It's not too bad of a ribbing though. Only negative is that if people no show to your party, you get stuck paying for them as the tickets are non refundable.

Where can you sing along, dance, hear live music by energetic performers, throw napkins in the air, and have fantastic drinks all in one place? What a fab place to have your bachelorette party! Call ahead, as my MOH did, and you will get priority seating as well as some special packages. Make sure you bring plenty of dollar bills to tip the dueling pianists!

The cake was gorgeous and tasted great too! When I had requested a few changes to the cake prior to the wedding after seeing an example of the actual cake style at my bridal shower, they were kind and understanding and didn't make me feel like bridezilla. When my mom tasted the cake at the shower, she told me "whatever this cake costs, pay it, it's worth it"! Delivery was as promised, and they just did what they said they would, which is exactly what you want from a wedding vendor.

They had people dancing all night long! Only negatives, I had not insisted on talking to the actual dj I would have for the night instead of just talking to the owner, so I was accosted immediately upon my entrance into the reception by the dj, the catering manager and my dad. All I wanted to do was put down my bouquet and purse, but they all had to talk to me immediately, which was annoying. Also, despite a very long and detailed instruction sheet I filled out for them, apparently my dj did not read it in full because he did not understand my directions about the dances with the bride and groom that everyone participates in, nor did he apparently read all my 10 must play songs until the end of the evening when he played them all back to back! Despite this, we got what we wanted, an unobtrusive dj who helped everyone have a great time.

I bought a beautiful lace short sleeved addition to my wedding gown at Eva's because even though I was working out a lot and lifting weights, I was worried my arms would be too flabby for my sleeveless wedding gown. I absolutely loved what we found there, they had a great selection and honored a sale sign where we ended up finding the one we bought, even though it turned out to have been in the wrong place! I wish I would have bought my dress from this great place. Ask for Jesse, she is very helpful and went out of her way to help us.

Agh. Davids bridal is where I bought my dress, much my chagrin later on. I found and ordered and paid for my dress the first time I went there, but they added $50 to the price for women's sizing, which is stupid because everyone is not their regular size with wedding sizing. When I called in to see if my dress was in, I got all sorts of answers which was uber frustrating. They ended up telling me that it was in when it wasn't, which had forced me to run around desperately trying to find shoes for my dress months ahead of time because I believed them. Only talk to a manager or the official dress checker (they have a special name for this person) when it comes to finding out if your dress and accesories are in to save yourself grief. Then, when I walked out of there finally with my dress and not getting the store alterations because they are so ridiculously pricey and usually not great in my experience with them before, they promised to press the dress free of charge. I had my now husband try to drop the dress off at a different Davids closer to his work and they refused to do it. After a bunch of phone calls to the original store manager, I ended up taking it the first Davids, which honored what their employees had promised, but again, only after a lot of grief and stress.
