The hotel is located steps away from the new Sprint Center and is surrounded by the shops and restaurants of the Power and Lights District. Guest found the rooms and suites to be reasonably priced, nicely appointed and very comfortable. Guests were also impressed that the hotel was so easy to access from the airport.
The staff was very professional and accomodated all our requests. Because of brand recognition and loyalty, I could have easily selected the Intercontintal on the Plaza as my hotel and venue.....but in the end I am so happy we opted for the Hilton.
Our service and experience was 100% personalized...I highly recommend this venue.

McLain's Bakery was highly recommended to me. They are wonderful. Locally owned and operated, McLain's offers personal service and great cake at a reasonable price. Donald is very easy to work with and his creations are not only delicious, but beautiful too. Do not bother looking any further, McLain's is the right choice.

A beautifully appointed venue located just off the lobby of the wonderfully renovated President Hilton in downtown Kansas City, MO.
In addition to the beautiful venue, the professional staff at The President Hilton were fantastic. They tended to every detail. Once a contract was signed a planner was assigned to facilitate the planning. The chef accomodated all our requests. It was a non tradional rehearsal dinner. We opted invite all guests who had flown in from out of town to join us for dinner and drinks.
Dinner included a staffed risotto station, a raw bar, cheeses, fruit, an anti-pasta station, vegetables, a meditterean bar, a premium/ top shelf open bar and hors d'oerves served butler style.
The total price reflects a few extras, such as: margaritas from scratch and music.
This price also included all linens, all waitstaff charges, candles, set up and tear down, etc, etc, etc.
The President Hilton did an outstanding job!
Just what I needed! A Perfect Ten brought the salon to me and my girlfriends. Because we all flew in from out of town and wanted to maximize our time together, renting a suite, having room service bring up breakfast, and the salon come to us was the best choice ever.
The Perfect Ten staff were professional, friendly, on-time, offered a variety of services and had wide selecton of colors and services. I highly recommend this flexible and very unique spa option.

An elegant ballroom situated at the top of The President Hilton in downtown Kansas City, MO. Beautiful chandeliers hang from the cieling and sparkle on the highly polished marble floors. Two of the four walls have floor to cieling windows that open up to display the lights of KCMO at night. I agonized over whether I should pick the Intercontintal on the Plaza and The President Hilton...I am very happy I chose the President Hilton. All weekend long my guests and I enjoyed very personalized attention.
In addition to the beautiful venue, the professional staff at The President Hilton were fantastic. They tended to every detail. Once a contract was signed a planner was assigned to facilitate the planning. The chef accomodated all our requests.
For about $128 per person our guests enjoyed:
a pre-reception cocktail hour with a premium/ top shelf open bar and hors d'oerves served butler style; dinner included an upgraded salad selection with choice of dressing, fine whole grain breads with fluer de lis shaped herbed butter, an intermezzo to cleanse the pallette, a duet entree of fish and KC steak with vegetable, a specially requested dessert served on painted plates with truffles, Starbucks coffee, tea, iced tea, etc; guests also enjoyed an additional 6 hours of a top shelf/ premium open bar.
The $128 per person price reflects the fact that I opted to include a few extras, such as: margaritas from scratch on the 7 hours of open bar, chair covers and charger plates.
This price also included all linens, all waitstaff charges, place setting charges, glassware charges, set up and tear down, etc, etc, etc.
The President Hilton did an outstanding job!

Simple and elegant. The small pocket park is surrounded by beautiful homes and is well maintained. Our ceremony was short, so we only used it for about a total of 20 minutes. That equates to $25 per minute...I would not have minded all that much, but the city's rental agreement stated maitenance personnel would post signs notifying other patrons that the park was reserved. The signs were never posted.

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR LARRY:
From easy to complex, Larry can do it all. I prefer simple arrangements, but saw his genius on display at the Intercontinental Hotel on the Plaza. He was willing to perfect every detail. Not only did he wrap "faux" gifts in lovely paper and beautiful bows so guests could easily identify the gift table, he also painted a bird cage in a coordinating color to place on the gift table to collect envelopes and cards from guests. It was simple and genius.

Great Value! Christina is an excellent and very talented photographer. She not only took tradional still photograpghy, she also captured many candid moments through her lens. She easily blended in with the crowd taking not only taking photos of us, but also numerous pictures of our guests! She wore professional attire, arrived on time and stayed until the last photo opportunity. In addition to wonderful package deals, she also has a great website complete with a very easy to use online purchase tool.
I would most certainly recommend her to a friend.

Barbara Williams is a miracle maker and overall wonderful woman. If you are seeking personal attention, a detail oriented seamstress and a woman with commercial experience, Barbara is it! I contacted her on a Sunday morning when most businesses are closed. Not only did she answer, but she said she would help! I am an officer in the US Army, and my now husband and I, decided to marry before I deployed to Iraq. The story goes as follows, my Mom flew out from Washington state with seven dresses in a box. I tried on a few and found one that I not only truly liked, but fit well. But like every bride, I did not think it was perfect. In my words it was "too poofy." This is where Barbara came in, over the phone she was easy to connect with and very easy going in person. She allowed my Mother and I to come to her business immediately following our telephone conversation that Sunday morning. Barbara instantly went to work, making an already wonderful dress, perfect. She is truly talented. She also made a wrap and my veil. During the course of our conversation, I also found out that not only does she make dresses, alter dresses, but she also makes costumes for large theatrical productions and for the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders. WOW! She is very talented and her prices are very reasonable. Do not bother looking for anyone else...Barbara is your lady! Phone: (816) 361-1144
