I found the dress i wanted and I put it on layaway. I sent my husband in to pay the deposit on the dress and the girl that worked their went in and got my dress and showed him it and said is this the one? Well he put the deposit down on the dress not knowing any better. When i called them to complain later that day the assistant manager said they were sorry and they were really busy. The lady refused to return my deposit as I no longer wanted that dress becuase he had seen it. I instead called back and talked to a manager who was way mroe understanding and left it up to me what i wanted to do. I searched and found another dress i wanted a lot more but could not afford it. So i settled for a 2rd dress instead. After talking with my husband about it he said they were not busy at all and infact that assistant manager was standing chatting with other associates and he only saw 1 customer in the store other then himself. I didnt appreciate being lied to and i was not and still am not happey with that Davids Bridal with how i was my privacy for the dress was completely a lack of privacy.

Olive garden were extremely accoumidating to my wishes with all i wanted to do. We had originally planned for 50 people and about 20 showed up for the reception. We didnt have a DJ or have mixed drinks so that saved us a lot of money. Or at least we didnt provide those drinks but we didnt stop people for getting them for them self's.
They gave us lots of room and even though we had actual olive garden guests around us i didnt mind becuase those people were very supportive to us as well.

my relatives happen to be good friends with the photographer so we got a deal on getting pictures taken. He over all did a good job with the pictures and i like what i got but i have not had the pictures developed. This protographer still uses film which is rather dificult to touch up and make copies of. Not to mention the fact that it is really expensive to have the negatives developed into what pictures i want. So for now i am just holding onto the negative book.

We decided to stay at Founders Hall. It was beautiful and has the perfect set up for just about any size wedding. I loved the fact that their are floor to celing windows to let in the most light possible. Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU), was very kind when paying to rent the hall. We got a deal because our fiends that are Alumni of SVSU get cheeper prices when renting the hall. And such got us out of the agreement of having the reception their in one of their confrence rooms. We were very pleased and the staff did everyhting possible to get us what ever we needed on the day of. Over all i really reccomend to any couple that wants a small wedding to have it her. It was better then i could have imagined it would have been.
