My husband bought my engagement ring from Whitehall jewelers and I needed to have it resized. I brought it into a different store than my husband had bought it at, and they had a lot of issues with verifying that he had purchased it at a Whitehall store. They asked me if I had the receipt, and of course I didn't. Why would I have the receipt for my engagement ring!? I don' think that it is a very strange thing for a girl to have to go to a different store than where her far away fiance bought her engagement ring, but Whitehall had a lot of problems dealing with that. Then, they took about twice as long to resize it as they said they would, and when I picked it up they asked me about the "missing stone" I thought, there had better not be a missing stone! I gave it to you with all three diamonds and they had better all be there! I was mad. Apparently they had gotten my ring mixed up with someone elses! Terrible. I have not been back to Whitehall since, and I have been getting my engagement ring cleaned at Kay Jewelers where we bought our wedding rings. They are much better.

I would give her 6 stars if I could! This is a pretty wedding-specific vendor because it is for people in the military, but she did an incredible job. I especially liked that you are dealing with one lady who personalizes every order that she works with. She asks you all sorts of questions about you and the groom so that she can make it as close to real as possible, even down to the dress! My hair is slightly darker blonde than my husbands, and she even made it like that on our cake topper. Then, my favorite part, I sent her pictures of my husbands' uniform and she recreated it on this little man so perfectly, down to each and every medal! Our cake topper will be a keepsake that we will treasure forever!

Oh my gosh, I think I spent my whole life here in the three months before my wedding. But it was a lot of fun to see all the different things that you could do and try to figure out ways to put your own personal touch on your wedding. I made my own party favors from Michaels (toile wrapped around m&ms that had our names on them in the shape of a hard candy) and got my own printable invitations that turned out great! I couldn't have asked for anything prettier, and it wasn't as stressful as trying to send in your information to a company and hope it comes out right! I also got my programs from here and materials to make table numbers and centerpieces. And probably a million other little things that I can't remember. They have a GREAT wedding aisle

These guys were really good. We decided to take dance lessons about two weeks before the wedding and they still came up with a nice, elegant, simple routine for us to us for our first dance and for our father daughter dance. Very nice people too!

This company was very good. they were on time, the limo was clean, and the driver was very good about taking us where we wanted to go. He even pulled over to open our bottle of champagne for us! After the wedding, we just wanted to ride around in the limo until the reception, and he did a great job of driving around aimlessly and getting us there at perfect timing. Absolutely no complaints.

I thought that the cake was great! even after 1 year when we ate the top part it wasn't too bad. But while we were in there ordering the cake, two people came in and complained about how their cakes were done. That was kind of scary because we had to use this cake vendor with the reception site that we booked. But in the end everything turned out ok with my cake. I would just be aware that they had had some unhappy customers

This florist was ok. The flowers were all very pretty and I was very happy with the bouquets. The only thing that I didn't like was that I just wanted three flowers on the cake, very simple with clean lines, and she covered the cake with flowers. But I'm not sure that I had made that super clear to her beforehand, I just gave her a picture of the cake and drew three flowers on it. She might have just thought I was too lazy to draw all the flowers that I wanted. But I guess you jsut have to be very clear with things that you want with every vendor.

WE had Dan from Crestline entertainment as our DJ for the wedding and he did an incredible job! I was most nervous about the DJ because they can either make or break your reception. But he was very professional. He was set up and on time, and did a great job of getting everyone out on the dance floor. He played stuff for the old people first and then for the last hour it was all me and my friends dancing and going crazy out on the floor. He did a great job of coordinating all the dances and the bouquet toss, garter toss etc. He was also pretty funny without being corny. Crestline has a great website where you can pick all the music you want for specific dances and your top ten request list so that the bride and groom don't have to make requests during the reception. Highly Recommended!

Amazing! We got engaged on Saint Patricks day, (March 17th 2007) and decided to get married on 7/7/07. It wasn't about the date, my husband is in the military and the weekend after the fourth of July is the only one we could guarantee that he would have off, so I was very frustrated when we couldn't find a reception hall. Luckily there was a cancellation at Klein Creek (I guess when you book three years in advance for your wedding it doesn't always work out). The tent was beautiful, the air conditioning worked great, the food was delicious, and the staff was very helpful. The lady they assigned to our wedding was great about making sure that I got everything that I wanted and that everything was in the right place. The only issue was the restrictions that the town that it is in puts on you. You have to keep the noise to a certain level or the cops can be called on your wedding reception. I recommend going with the dj that whose card they have there because they know all about the restriction and will keep the music down. Also, the party has to end at 11 and they aren't allowed to serve shots. In the end, I actually liked all these restrictions because the music wasn't so loud that you couldn't talk (it was at a good level, not too quite either, they did a good job) and by 11 o'clock I was totally ready to kick out all the guests and go back to our honeymoon suite (they could party on at their hotels!) and I don't really think that people need shots at weddings, then they just get way out of control and that's not fun. You can get plenty drunk on a nice mixed drink!

I went to David's because they were having a sale on wedding dresses so I thought I'd check it out. Beautiful dresses, I found "the one" in like 15 minutes and got a discount for my bridesmaids dresses. I thought that it would be good to use a chain because two of my bridesmaids were from far away and they would be able to get the dress where they are. This is a FALSE assumption! Apparently the fabrics they use in different parts of the country are different so they all had to order them through my store anyways and didn't get to try them on until just before the wedding. Also, one store tried to sell one of my bridesmaids the correct dress but in black. Luckily she knew that the dress was supposed to be pink and didn't buy it, but I thought that was kind of weird. Then, I added on flower girl dresses to my order. The parents of the flower girls tried to get them in a different store and they said that I hadn't picked out any flower girl dresses. So I went in and re-added them. They said that I had two accounts going, one with flower girl dresses and one without. Instead of just deleting one, they told me to tell the moms to ask for the one with flower girl dresses. Didn't work. They still couldn't find the right dresses. I went in again and now I had THREE accounts! Finally, I ended up just getting the tag number and sending that to the moms of the flower girls so they could get the right dress. So get your wedding dress there, they are good deals, but avoid getting your wedding party stuff through them, they are a huge hassle!
